Anne Frank Zentrum

The Anne Frank Center, the German partner organisation of Anne Frank House in Amsterdam, is located directly adjacent to the Hackesche Höfe in Berlin’s Mitte district.

The main exhibition ‘Anne Frank. Here & Now’ is focused around the diary and life story of a young Jewish girl, who fled from Frankfurt to Amsterdam with her family in 1933, and lived in hiding in a back building between 1942 and 1944.

Exhibitions focus on the life of Anne Frank, with evocative photographs depicting how she lived, while interviews with her father, her classmate, and a helper provide further context to the conditions that this remarkable young girl endured during wartime.
