Oceans: Our Blue Planet at the San Diego Natural History Museum

May-December 8th, 2018

Oceans: Our Blue Planet by BBC Earth takes visitors on a journey through the largest and least examined habitat on Earth.

With the help of technological advances, BBC takes you further and deeper into the ocean to see some of the most incredible and rarely-seen creatures that the ocean has to offer.

It isn’t all scary sea creatures and bottom dwellers, you’ll see some dolphins joyfully leaping around and other marine life favorites.

Electric Eel Coaster at SeaWorld San Diego

Now Open!

Now the tallest and fastest roller coaster in San Diego, Electric Eel has opened at SeaWorld.

This coaster speeds through the sky at 60 miles per hour, loops hypnotically and rockets you skyward over 150 before a descent that will take your breath away.

Nighttime Zoo at the San Diego Zoo

June 17 – Sept. 3, 2018

Stay late at the zoo and roar into the evening with live music, shows and of course some of your favorite animals.

Everyone loves the San Diego Zoo but not everyone gets to see the zoo at night, so stampede your way into the zoo before the summer ends!

ArtWalk @ Liberty Station

August 11&12, 2018

Do you love art but love the outdoors as well? If this sounds like you then you’ll be enamored by the ArtWalk.

Artists from San Diego and beyond will share their paintings, sculptures, jewelry and more under beautiful San Diego skies.

Summer Movie Nights at the USS Midway

The USS Midway is going to be showing Moana on the flight deck on August 18.

Tickets are free but you must register online to get tickets.

Hiking in Balboa Park

Balboa Park has 19 hiking trails, totaling 65 miles and different types of scenery, difficult and length.

There are 5 different starting points for the 19 trails: Golden Hill, Marston Point, Morley Field, Park Boulevard, and Sixth and Upas.
