Throw out your history textbooks and your Hocus Pocus DVD – this place is where you'll learn all about Salem's infamous witchcraft trials. The Salem Witch Trials took place in 1692, and over 200 people were accused of witchcraft and 20 executed. You'll travel back in time to the 17th-century Salem Village and experience this dramatic period in history, which is brought to life through imaginative stage sets.
Daily, 10:00 am-5:30 pm. Extended hours in July and August.
Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. Closes at 3:00 pm on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. All holiday hours are subject to change without notice.
Getting In: Upon arrival, present your pass at the ticket desk for entry. (October: plan to arrive before noon to secure tickets.)
Please Note: Presentations run on the half hour and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. In October, tickets to the Salem Witch Museum often sell out early in the day.
