You'll get to swim around with manatees in their natural habitat, get a kiss and a hug, and you might even be able to feed them too. 

Along with the manatee swim in Cozumel, you'll also have free time to explore the Chankanaab National Park and, if you bring along your snorkeling equipment, you can discover the underwater life there too.

Getting in

Present your pass at check-in for admission, please arrive 30 minutes before your program. 

Location

Isla Mujeres: Get to “Playa Langosta” Pier in Cancun.
Cozumel: Get to “Ultramar” Ferry Pier in Playa del Carmen.

Please note: If you pick the Isla Mujeres tour, a $15 dock and sea life preservation fee is due at check-in for this activity.

It is important to arrive 30 minutes before your program, remember you'll receive a short briefing before your swim. If you have any health condition or physical disability please contact the call center before you make your reservation.

The use of life jackets is required in all water programs.

For security reasons, the use of cameras in the water is not allowed, and professional photos will be available for sale.

The minimum height to participate in the Manatee program is 3.9ft. (8-12 y.o)

For safety reasons, pregnant women (five months and up) can't participate in any of our aquatic programs. Women less than five months into their pregnancy can participate in the Encounter program only if accompanied by another adult and after signing a responsibility form.

• Remember to use biodegradable sunscreen to protect your skin, the environment, and marine species.
