How do I get my pass?

Firstly, download the Go City app. You can then use your order confirmation number to add your pass to your phone. Et voilà, it'll be right there on the app. (But don't worry, your pass won't activate until you visit your first attraction!).

Feeling old-school? You can also print your pass at home using the link in your confirmation email (You can also show this version of the pass on your phone if you'd prefer!).

How do I use my Explorer Pass?

Got your pass? Let the sightseeing begin! When you get to each attraction, tour or activity, show your pass for entry.

Many attractions will allow you to walk in on the day, but some need to be booked in advance. Be sure to check our Explorer Pass reservations page before you travel to see which attractions require a booking. You can also find the booking details on each attraction's page under 'Know before you go'.

Remember, your pass only activates when you visit your first attraction, so making reservations won't activate your pass.

What's included with the Explorer Pass?

With your pass, you can pick 3, 4, 5, or 7 attractions to visit from our list of top Dublin sights, tours, and must-sees.

Purse Values

Each Explorer Pass is subject to a purse value which is based on the duration of the pass. 

The purse value is the maximum amount you can use based on the standard gate price for each attraction. For example, with a 7-choice adult Explorer Pass, you can visit seven attractions up to the total cost of €205.

Here's a breakdown of the purse value for each pass:

3-choice Explorer Pass: adult € 95 / child € 65
4-choice Explorer Pass: adult € 125 / child € 80
5-choice Explorer Pass: adult € 150 / child € 95
7-choice Explorer Pass: adult € 205 / child € 125

How long do I have to use my pass?

Visiting your first chosen attraction will activate your pass. From then on, you can go at your own pace – you'll have 60 days to visit the rest. Sweet!

    We know that no two sightseers are the same, that's why we offer two pass options. For those who want to see as much as possible, we've got All-Inclusive passes. Choose how many days you want your pass to be valid for, and then visit as many attractions as you wish.

    And for those of you who are a little pickier, we've got the Explorer Pass. With this pass, you can select how many attractions you wish to visit, and you'll then have 60 days to do so. Plus, there's no need to decide which ones you'll visit before you purchase, so you'll still be able to keep your plans flexible.

  • Do I have to make reservations for attractions?

    Certain attractions will require a reservation. If this is the case, you will find all booking information listed on our reservations page and the individual attraction pages on our website and app. Some advance reservations will require a pass number or order reference number to secure your booking. This will not activate your pass.
