The role of the Social Media Coordinator is to support the growth of our social media platforms through a knowledge of key social platforms, analytics, community management and more. This person will report to the Director of Social and work collaboratively across the business.

What will we expect from you?

  • Oversee and participate in the creation and management of social content on all platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok and other emerging platforms.
  • Develop and maintain content plans and activations in the social content calendar including sponsored posts, product launches, influencer content, evergreen and more.
  • Lead editorial calendar, intake processes and workflow.
  • Source UGC from creators and obtain necessary approvals and permissions.
  • Monitor comments, engage with customers and communicate feedback to the team.
  • Work with Social Media Designer to create content and necessary graphics to support overall strategy.
  • Participate in the ideation and creation of promotional content and campaigns.
  • Work closely with our Influencer agency to support campaigns, approve content and manage time
  • Analyze week-to-week and YoY analytics and demonstrate ability to make content changes and recommendations based on data.
  • Capture and edit short videos for use in company Reels/TikTok.
  • Be creative and develop engaging social media content that's aligned with the company brand.
  • Work closely with Director of Social Media to understand strategic objectives.

What will you have/Who are you?

Essential:

  • Circa 1-2+ years of social media/content creation experience
  • Deep knowledge of the social media landscape and how to use each platform to get results
  • Strong written and verbal skills, excellent interpersonal and time-management skills
  • Experience with social tools such as Iconosquare, Later and more
  • Thrives using own initiative

Desirable:

  • Travel industry knowledge
