There’s no plane and no parachute in this adrenaline-packed Dubai attraction, just you suspended in mid-air with constant wind speeds of up to 200 kph. So you’ll get to experience skydiving whilst keeping your feet almost on the ground.
Embark on two one-minute flights in iFLY’s safe, controlled flying environment. This 10-meter tall vertical chamber has fans at the top to draw air through and create a smooth column of air that enables you to go up, up, and away.
First-time flyers will enjoy the excitement of flying and learning new skills, while more experienced flyers can freestyle with a spin, twirl, or loop around the flying chamber.
You’ll receive flight training from a certified flight instructor and learn proper body positioning and hand signals to use while flying. All your equipment is also included so once you’re geared up, take to the flight chamber with your instructor and enjoy your flight.
Indoor skydiving facts
NASA made the first-ever vertical wind tunnel in 1940 but the wind speeds were too slow for human flight.
There are Indoor Skydiving Championships which are hosted in different countries.
Indoor flying experiences are often different for each person as instructors may tailor wind speeds depending on the flyers' experience.

This attraction requires advanced booking.
Getting In: Show your pass at the iFLY Dubai reception desk. There's no need to purchase individual tickets at any of the Dubai attractions included on your pass.
Please Note: It's recommended that you visit on weekdays (Sunday-Thursday) as weekends (Friday and Saturday) can get busy.
NOTE: Prebooking this attraction will activate your pass so please make sure you do not book too early as an Explorer pass is valid 60 days from activation.
To fly at iFly you must:
- Weigh less than 115kg (254 pounds) and are shorter than 180cm (5'9"). Contact iFLY if you weigh more than this.
- Be 3 years old and above (younger flyers must be able to comfortably wear one of iFLY's helmets).
- Not be pregnant.
- Have not previously dislocated your shoulders.
- Not be under the influence of alcohol or non-prescribed drugs.
- Not be wearing a plaster cast.
- Have signed permission from a parent or guardian if under the age of 18.
- Have signed iFly's waiver form
