How do I choose between All-Inclusive and Explorer?

From neon-lit nights to dazzling sights, the Las Vegas experience is out of this world. And when it comes to attractions, the impressive line-up includes everything from rollercoaster rides and bar crawls to magic shows and even helicopter flights.

Las Vegas

Best of all, you can save while you sightsee with one of our Las Vegas attraction passes

But, wait? Which one do you choose? We break it all down and help you pick the best pass for your vacation. Spoiler alert: they’re all great!

Are you all-in or are you feeling picky?

Just like Vegas’ famous food options, you can choose between the ‘all-you-can eat buffet’ of passes or the carefully-selected à la carte.

I want the buffet!

Can’t choose between seafood and steak? Want a little bit of everything? If your vibe is ‘all you can eat’ then we think you’ll love the ‘all you can see’ option too.

Pick an All-Inclusive Pass and you can visit as many attractions as you like within the number of days you choose (which range from 2 to 5). Spend the morning at Madame Tussauds, indulge in a mid-day mystery at an Escape Room and then round off the day at a comedy show – the choice is yours.

I want the a la carte…

Or à la attraction, as we like to call it. If a buffet seems like pure overwhelm, you might prefer to pick a few carefully researched options and enjoy at your leisure. If so, we reckon the Explorer Pass is your friend.

Take your time perusing the attraction line up and consolidating a list of your top picks. You can then choose an Explorer Pass based on the number of attractions you want to see (with a choice of 2 to 7) and visit them within 30 days. Phew – it’s chilled vibes only over here.

Are you stopping by for a short time or staying for longer?

Your trip duration might play a part in your choice too – whether you’re on a short weekend away or sticking around for a while!

I’m only here for a few days

If you’re only in Sin City for a short stay but still want to make the most of your trip, the All-Inclusive Pass is your best bet. Purchase a 2 or 3-day pass and you can visit as many attractions as you want within that time. This pass gives you the ultimate flexibility – if you find you have time to squeeze in another museum, go ahead. You don’t need to miss out!

I’m staying for longer

If you’re in Sin City for a while, or planning to travel back to the city within the same month, you might find the Explorer Pass is the best option for you. After you’ve visited your first attraction, you have 30 days to use up your other choices, giving you plenty of time to explore. Perfect if you want to fit your select Vegas attractions into other sightseeing plans!

The famous Las Vegas sign

Are you keen to go big (but not go home)?

While all attractions on the pass offer an epic adventure, there are some real big ticket items that fit more into the once-in-a-lifetime category. Think helicopter flights over The Strip, breathtaking Cirque du Soleil shows and all-day tours of the Grand Canyon.

Yes – I’m ready, I want the full Vegas experience
If so, you’ll want to go for a 3, 4, or 5-day All Inclusive Pass, as they include your choice of one Premium attraction, for that extra special adventure.

No – there’s enough for me to see and do
Fabulous – choose any Explorer Pass or a 2-day All-Inclusive Pass and take your pick from any attraction that doesn’t have the ‘Premium’ badge.

Grand Canyon

Grand Canyon full-day tour

So there you have it – two pass types, multiple options, a roster of exciting attractions and big savings! Ready to get started? Check out our full attraction line up here or head straight to the passes page to explore all options and durations.

High Roller vs STRAT Tower: The Best Vegas Views Showdown!

Vegas High in the Sky: Pick Your Perfect Experience at the High Roller or STRAT Tower  So, you’ve landed in Las Vegas, where everything dazzles—and then it dazzles some more, just in case you missed it. With so much glitz on the ground, you might be wondering—how do you take it all in from up high? Whether you’re chasing that perfect panoramic photo or a thrill-packed memory, two headliners stand out: The High Roller Observation Wheel and The STRAT Tower. Each promises big views and a big experience, but which one should top your list? Get ready to think tall, feel brave, and maybe even a little fancy as we breakdown the unique thrills, breathtaking (oops—attention, no clichés!) scenes, and everything you need to know to plan your sky-high Las Vegas adventure.  The lowdown  High Roller Observation Wheel  Tallest observation wheel in North America—550 feet high!  Located at the LINQ Promenade, right in the middle of the Strip.  Each rotunda-like cabin fits up to 40 people (yep, there’s space to dance).  Offers a 30-minute slow-spin experience with 360-degree views of Las Vegas.  Options for standard, Happy Half Hour (open bar), and private pods for celebrations.  Rides both day and night; evening gives that electric Strip glow.  Wheelchair accessible, with climate-controlled cabins.  The STRAT Tower  Soars 1,149 feet skyward—tallest observation tower in the U.S!  Home to two observation decks (indoor and outdoor).  Three death-defying thrill rides at the very top: Big Shot, Insanity, X-Scream.  SkyJump: the only open-air leap from the top of a tower in Vegas.  360-degree city and desert views, day and night; rotating restaurant and bars on site.  Located at the north end of the Strip; more remote, but with unique vibes.  Features spacious elevators, wide open viewing areas, and accessible facilities.  Sounds good, tell me more...  Okay, so which one is most impressive?  Let’s talk high scores. The High Roller wins as the world’s highest observation wheel, but the STRAT towers over as the tallest structure in Vegas (that sky jump adds a whole new dimension). If you want a slow, glass-enclosed flight above the Strip, the High Roller rules. If you crave proper altitude and outdoor platforms, the STRAT offers unbeatable views and next-level bragging rights. Both set the scene for the city’s glimmering grandeur—so your choice depends on whether you want a smooth cruise or an adrenaline-fueled moment. Either way, your followers will be jealous.  Which one is more fun?  Fun takes many forms, and both attractions deliver, just in different flavors. The High Roller is zen fun—step in, chill out, shoot selfies, and sip a cocktail. There’s music, laughter, and people from all over the world, all sharing the same amazing view.  The STRAT, meanwhile, dials it up with high-voltage excitement. Those thrill rides will test your nerve; even watching others dare to dangle is half the fun (especially from the safety of the observation deck!). The rotating restaurant adds a unique twist: watch the city slide past while you eat. The fun here is spiked with adrenaline—perfect for anyone who loves a little drama with their dessert.  Which is more beautiful?  Beauty is in the details. The High Roller gives you a front-row seat to the Strip, offering that classic Vegas ‘wow’ scene with sweeping city views. By night, the neon-lit dome of Sin City sparkles like nowhere else, and there’s something magical about sharing a quiet moment with the noise of town far below.  The STRAT, thanks to its height and location a little off-center, serves broader vistas—desert mountains, cityscape, and the winding grid of lights stretching to infinity. The outdoor deck means nothing stands between you and the world—just a little breeze and the thrill of altitude.  For pure Strip-centric glitz, High Roller takes the cake. For panoramic beauty and desert majesty, STRAT holds the crown.  Which has the better view?  Both deliver in spades—just in different ways. The High Roller offers up-close Strip views, with cabins angled just right for a true pulse-of-the-city perspective. The glass is crystal clear and the gentle ride gives you loads of time to look in every direction.  The STRAT’s advantage? Its dizzying height means you’ll see not only the whole city, but the vast landscape beyond. From the open-air deck, the sweeping 360-degree views truly feel all-encompassing—the Strip, the sunrise or sunset over the Spring Mountains, and, on clear days, horizons that go on forever.  Our advice: if you want the Strip center-stage, spin on the High Roller. If you’re after jaw-dropping, all-of-Las-Vegas-and-then-some scenes, head for the STRAT.  How do I get there?  High Roller Observation Wheel  Sitting pretty in the heart of the Strip, the High Roller sits right at the LINQ Promenade between The LINQ Hotel and Flamingo. By bus, take the Deuce or SDX routes, which stop nearby. Monorail users can hop off at the Harrah’s/The LINQ Station—follow signs and you can’t miss that giant wheel peeking overhead. If you’re already wandering the Strip, expect a super-short walk from major resorts like Caesars Palace, Flamingo or Bally’s.  The STRAT Tower  High up at the north end of the Strip, the STRAT stands alone (literally—you can see it for miles!). Ride the Deuce or SDX northbound—both buses stop close to the entrance. You can also ride the Monorail as far as SAHARA Station; from there, it’s about a 15-minute stroll. Rideshares and taxis know exactly what you’re after if you simply say, “The tower, please!”  Best choice for families, couples or friends  Families:  The High Roller is a winner for families. The steady, smooth ride makes it ideal for guests of all ages, including young children and grandparents. There’s plenty of room to move around within each pod, so little ones can gaze out safely from every angle. Plus, the setting is lively without being overwhelming—parents can relax and actually enjoy the moment, too.  The STRAT, however, brings out the adventurer in every family—especially those with curious teens or brave kids (note that some thrill rides have minimum height restrictions). If your crew loves a bit of drama, watching daredevils leap off the SkyJump or riding the Big Shot together will surely be a bonding moment no one forgets. The observation deck is fun for everyone, but kids who aren’t fond of heights might feel the buzz of adrenaline a bit more here.  Couples:  Couples, listen up—a sunset spin on the High Roller makes for a dreamy date night. The mellow atmosphere, dazzling Strip views and option to toast with bubbles set the mood for romance. Snag a private cabin if you’re celebrating, or keep it casual in the shared pods—either way, Vegas looks extra magical from up here.  Over at the STRAT, couples who thrive on adventures will love sharing the thrill rides and sipping cocktails with the city stretched out below. Dinner at Top of the World restaurant only amps up the romance factor—there’s nothing like revolving city lights to spark a little more connection.  Friends:  For friend groups, both attractions have something special. The High Roller’s Happy Half Hour transforms your ride into a moving happy hour, complete with drinks, music, and plenty of selfie opportunities—basically, a rolling pregame before painting the Strip red. The STRAT’s high-octane rides, observation decks, and bar scene make it the perfect spot for friends to dare each other into bucket-list moments (and collect some epic stories along the way).  I’ve got fidgety kids to entertain – which has more ‘hands on’ activities?  For kids who need more than sky-high scenery, the STRAT pulls into the lead. The thrill rides up top—not to mention the chance to cheer on SkyJump daredevils—offer terrific interactive entertainment. You’ll also find arcade-style games downstairs, so your kiddos can channel their energy long after the elevator ride is over.  The High Roller, while slightly more chill, gives kids that sense of magic from the ever-changing 360-degree views. The ride itself is a calm experience, but the LINQ Promenade outside is a lively pedestrian zone packed with quirky shops and snack stops—face painting, treat kiosks, and street entertainers help round out the fun for active explorers.  What’s the accessibility like?  Both the High Roller and the STRAT Tower pride themselves on making the sky accessible to everyone.  High Roller: Every pod is wheelchair-friendly, and access is smooth—thanks to gentle ramps and wide doors. Service animals are welcome, and staff are always happy to assist with boarding. The 30-minute ride is calm, and all cabins are climate-controlled for comfort year-round.  STRAT Tower: Elevated accessibility is also a priority here. Both indoor and outdoor observation decks are wheelchair accessible, and restrooms are designed for wheelchair users as well. Some of the thrill rides have restrictions for safety, so it’s best to check specifics ahead if you’re eyeing those experiences. For general access and enjoying the view, you’ll find plenty of space and helpful guidance from staff.  Best lunch spots nearby?  High Roller/LINQ Promenade:   Virgil’s Real Barbecue: Go for their melt-in-your-mouth brisket sandwich or crispy fried chicken—hearty, flavorful, and perfect for fueling up before or after your High Roller spin.  Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips: The crispy cod is famous, but don’t sleep on the deep-fried battered sausage for a classic British bite. Casual, lively, and steps from the wheel’s base.  Yard House: Draft beer selection for days, pub grub for every palate, and a view of the bustling Promenade’s people-watching circus.  Haute Doggery: Fun, slightly wild regional hot dog creations—try the Big Texan Dog loaded with cheddar, bacon, and barbecue sauce.  Flour & Barley: Thin-crust pizzas, wood-fired and perfect for sharing, served up in a chic, energetic Italian-American spot.  If you’re on a budget, pop into Sprinkles Cupcakes ATM for a grab-and-go treat, or hit up In-N-Out Burger, a Vegas staple beloved for its quality at any hour.  The STRAT:  Top of the World Restaurant: For the ultimate Vegas splurge and the city’s only rotating fine-dining room, reserve a window table and savor prime rib or seafood pasta as the views slowly change. Dress code is on the upscale side—makes for a memorable meal.  108 Eats: More low-key, found right on the observation deck. Try their gourmet grilled cheese or spicy chicken wings—delicious and super convenient when you want minimal fuss but crave a bite with your view.  STRAT Café: Classic, round-the-clock American diner dishes in a casual setting—think eggs any style, burgers, shakes, and coffee whenever the mood strikes.  Fellini’s Ristorante Italiano: Old-school Vegas charm with red sauce classics served amid twinkling lights and soft jazz.  Where are the best photo opportunities?  High Roller: You’ll want wide shots as your pod rises above the Strip—sunset is peak ‘golden hour,’ when the casinos’ glass towers shimmer and the mountains take on rosy hues. At night, shoot south toward the Bellagio fountains for dazzling light displays, or north for the bright, geometrically aligned Strip. Group selfies with the cabin’s party behind you tell the true story of your Vegas adventure.  STRAT Tower: Zoom in on the full, unobstructed span of the Strip below and the dramatic sweep of the mountains beyond. For ultimate drama, shoot outdoors where nothing stands between your lens and the horizon. Locals know the blue hour right after sunset is when the sky glows and city lights sparkle most. Capture friends on the thrill rides for dynamic action shots—bragging rights included.  We’re finished and thirsty – is there a decent bar in the area?  High Roller area:  O’Sheas Casino: Vintage Vegas with beer pong tables, leprechaun hosts, and an Irish pub vibe. Order a frozen Baileys cocktail for grown-up indulgence.  Virgil’s After Hours Bar: Whiskey focus, Southern cocktails, and live bands—unwind in an easy-going, rootsy setting.  Chayo Mexican Kitchen + Tequila Bar: Patio with a prime Strip view, bold margaritas (try the signature Jalapeño Cucumber Marg), and modern cantina feels.  The STRAT:  108 Drinks: Right on the indoor deck; sip signature cocktails like the STRATosphere Martini with raspberry and pineapple—pairs with stunning views.  PT’s Wings & Sports: Downstairs for sports bar energy, classic beer, and wings—but it’s open late and affordable.  SkyLounge: For a luxe experience after dark, this bar offers creative mixology, wraparound city views, and a chic, mellow crowd—ideal for date nights or quiet drinks.  Any other good stuff nearby?  High Roller/LINQ Promenade area:  Fly LINQ Zipline: Glide down the Promenade, flying Superman-style high above the crowds.  Brooklyn Bowl: Concerts, upscale bowling and hearty comfort food all under one roof.  Bellagio Conservatory: Just a short stroll, this free indoor garden installation is reimagined each season.  Fountains of Bellagio: Truly spectacular water shows every half hour after sundown—and it’s free.  The STRAT area:  Downtown Las Vegas/Fremont Street Experience: Classic Vegas lights, street performers, and live music just a short rideshare away. Don’t miss the nightly Viva Vision light show overhead.  Arts District: Ten minutes south, discover local boutiques, funky galleries, breweries, and a welcoming neighborhood vibe.  Chapel of the Flowers: If you’re feeling amorous, Vegas’s most photogenic wedding chapel is nearby.  Sahara Las Vegas: Vintage vibes with modern style—check out new cocktail lounges and retro swim-up bars.  The wrap up  You really can’t lose—whether you roll high above the city in a glass orb on the Strip, or stand atop Vegas’s tallest tower taking in the wild wonders below. Both the High Roller and the STRAT Tower let you see Las Vegas from a whole new angle, adding unforgettable memories to your trip.  With Go City, it’s even easier—and you can save big while enjoying more of the fun. Things to do in Las Vegas at Night Time

It’s difficult to accurately convey the excitement of Las Vegas after dark. It’s the kind of thing that really has to be experienced, at least once, to be believed. We’re talking kaleidoscopic neon lights that set the night sky ablaze from dusk till dawn, larger-than-life dancing fountains and exploding volcanoes on the Strip, and hands-down the best nightlife on the planet, from mega-clubs to world-class concerts to huge, cavernous casinos. And that’s just for starters. They don’t call it the entertainment capital of the world for nothing, you know! We’ve attempted to distill the very essence of Sin City into just 10 essential after-dark activities. Check out our favorite things to do in Las Vegas at night time below, including: The Strip by bus and by helicopter Flamboyant Bellagio and Mirage hotel shows The Fremont Street Experience A date atop the Eiffel Tower A cacophony of clubs, concerts and casinos The Neon Museum The High Roller observation wheel Vegas Night Rider A bus tour is one of the easiest ways to get a flavor of Sin City at any time. But it’s particularly special at night, when the desert city transmits its bright neon glow out into the stratosphere and the streets are abuzz with party people. Ride the Strip and marvel at the flamboyant mega-resorts, pause for a night time selfie at the iconic ‘Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas’ sign and experience a little old-school Vegas downtown, where you’ll have free time to explore the epic Fremont Street Experience and nab yet more snaps in front of the famous Golden Nugget casino, an essential part of the landscape here since 1946. Free Strip Entertainment You can find all the night time entertainment you’ll ever need along the length of Las Vegas Boulevard, aka the Strip, where mega-hotels vie for your attention with increasingly flamboyant live spectacles, perfect for lighting up your Insta. Chief among these must-sees are the Bellagio fountains: great skyscraping jets of balletic water that sway in time with classical music belters and modern pop bangers. Then there’s the volcano at Mirage, complete with leaping flames, eyebrow-singeing fireballs and, um, pina colada-scented smoke. Only in Las Vegas. Both shows run at regular intervals throughout the evening, right up until midnight. Ride the High Roller Towering a casual 550 feet above the Strip, the Las Vegas High Roller is second only in height to the Ain Dubai in the hotly contested observation wheel world league. As the sun sets over Sin City, the High Roller is illuminated with 2,000 LED lights, creating an eye-popping display that stands out superbly against the night sky even in this perpetually neon-lit metropolis. Step aboard at the LINQ Promenade for a smooth 30-minute ride that soars over the streets, affording dizzying views along the Strip and beyond. Over 21? Steady vertigo-induced nerves with a Dirty Martini in one of the open-bar cabins. Feeling Lucky? Can you even say you’ve been to Vegas if you haven’t spent time in one of the city’s cavernous mega-casinos? No, dear reader, you cannot. Take your pick of the slots or try your luck on the poker, craps, roulette and blackjack tables. There are (obvs) dozens of casinos to choose from (it’s Vegas, baby!) but for pure old-school charm, Caesars Palace and the Golden Nugget are tough to beat. Good luck, and don’t forget to gamble responsibly, kids. Fremont Street Experience Easily one of the coolest things to do in Las Vegas at night time, the Fremont Street Experience is an epic downtown entertainment complex that includes fine-dining restaurants, trendy cocktail bars and – because this is Las Vegas – a 1,700-foot-long zip wire with a launch platform that’s designed to look like a slot machine and comes complete with 35-foot showgirls. Highlight of the complex is the utterly bonkers LED canopy; essentially a wraparound video screen that’s the length of five football pitches. Don’t miss its mesmerizing nightly Viva Vision light show every hour between 6PM and 2AM. See the Strip in Style If there’s a better way to see Vegas at night than from a helicopter we’ve yet to discover it. Hop aboard for a whirlwind adventure that takes in the bright lights of the Strip and the sparkle of downtown. Eyes peeled for Vegas giants including the STRAT’s rooftop roller coasters, Paris’s replica Eiffel Tower, the High Roller observation wheel, and the ever-changing facade of the Sphere. Romance, Europe-Style Looking to impress your date? A night ride along the Venetian’s replica Grand Canal, complete with singing gondolier, is sure to set hearts aflutter. Afterwards, head over to the Paris resort’s glitzy Eiffel Tower facsimile, where a ride up in the great glass elevator is rewarded with fine French dining far above the Strip. Bon appetit! See the Bright Lights The Neon Museum is a quite astonishing al fresco boneyard that preserves and showcases that most Las Vegas of art forms: the neon sign. Check out retired masterpieces of the Sin City skyline including signage from Sassy Sally’s, the Stardust, the Hard Rock Cafe and the Lucky Cuss Motel. This is a favorite night time activity in Las vegas, so be prepared to queue for those all-important Instagrammable photo opportunities, with the signs lit up against the desert sky in all their technicolor glory. Take in a Show Las Vegas doesn’t half know how to put on a show. Magicians, musical icons, comedians, theatrical groups: there’s something for everyone here. Check out one of the many spectacular Cirque shows at resorts including the MGM Grand and Mandalay Bay, catch the legendary Blue Man Group at the Luxor, or go old school at the Coliseum in Caesars Palace, where mega stars including Cher, Adele, Mariah and Elton have all held long-running residencies. Get Your Boogie On The club scene in Las Vegas is legendary, from night time pool parties to cavernous clubs like Hakkasan at the MGM Grand where superstar DJs such as Calvin Harris and Tiesto bring the beats. Hit up Omnia in Caesars Palace with its huge outdoor terrace, or enjoy some of the best people-watching in town at Mandalay Bay’s upscale LIGHT venue. It’s Vegas, so naturally there’s also the option of joining a VIP nightclub tour, an ideal entry point for the uninitiated.
