Meet Uncle Zach – the man behind TikTok's favorite family vacation
Uncle Zach, a Hawaii-based RAF veteran, is the kind of guy who turns dreams into reality. After the devastating loss of a loved one, Zach Baumann, affectionately known as Uncle Zach, had one heartfelt wish: to bring his nieces to Hawaii for an unforgettable family adventure, creating memories that would last a lifetime. When he shared his story on TikTok, the internet responded with overwhelming support, and that dream quickly became a beautiful reality.
At Go City, we couldn’t resist being part of Uncle Zach’s Big Island Adventure. It was the perfect way to kick off our Go City Summer Top-Up campaign – by helping a family experience the best of Oahu. We gifted them free Oahu passes, making sure they could easily access all their must-see attractions and enjoy a stress-free trip.

Makani Catamaran Sail – Zach and his nieces enjoyed a breezy adventure, complete with stunning ocean views, vibrant marine life, and the thrill of gliding across the waves.
Polynesian Cultural Center – next up they visited the Polynesian Cultural Center, where they discovered the rich traditions of the Pacific, and enjoyed captivating performances and hands-on cultural activities.
Aloha Tower - Ka Moana Luau – finally they got to experience the true spirit of Aloha with an evening of delicious authentic island cuisine and mesmerizing hula dances.
