Ghost Town at Knott's Berry Farm
June-September 3rd, 2018
Knott's Berry Farm is celebrating their annual Ghost Town attraction this summer! Come ride the largest, fastest, and tallest wooden roller coaster on the west coast; the new GhostRider. Ghost Town Alive! offers more interaction and wild west fun than ever before. This event is one of my favorite things to do in San Diego in August. Getting In: Knott's Berry Farm tickets are included on the Go Los Angeles Card.
The Aquarium of the Pacific
Take a ride out to Long Beach and head into the Aquarium of the Pacific. Explore exhibits and discover sunny Southern California and Baja, the frigid waters of the Northern Pacific, and the colorful reefs of the Tropical Pacific. Making this an incredibly diverse aquarium for whichever kind of marine life you enjoy. Come face-to-face with and even touch (if you dare) the ocean’s ultimate predators in Shark Lagoon, hand-feed colorful lorikeet birds, and watch the penguins play. Getting In: Aquarium of the Pacific tickets are included on the Go Los Angeles Card.
Cool off at Knott's Soak City
Southern California is known for it's beautiful weather but you may get a little warm sometimes and want to cool off, Knott's Soak City is the perfect place to do that. The water park covers about 13 acres and has seemingly everything you could possibly want, whether you seek thrills or a relaxing float down the lazy river, Knott's Soak City has got you covered. Getting In: Knott's Soak City Water Park ticket are included on the Go Los Angeles Card.
Hang out in Hollywood
Start at the Hollywood Walk of Fame where you can see the star of your favorite celebrity. You may even run into some celebrities while you're in Hollywood. If you want to get even closer to the stars you can take a Hollywood Movie Star Homes Tour and see the homes of some of Hollywood's elites. Getting In: Hollywood Movie Star Homes Tour tickets are included on the Go Los Angeles Card. If seeing movie locations is more your speed then you can take a Hollywood Behind the Scenes Tour, which feature locations stared by A-listers. On your stroll through Hollywood, you'll see some of the most famous theatres in the world as well as some of the top studios. Getting In: Hollywood Behind-the-Scenes™ Tour by Red Line Tours tickets are included on the Go Los Angeles Card.
