The Aquarium is a facility of the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks and is located on the shore at Cabrillo Beach in San Pedro between Point Fermin and the Port of Los Angeles.

Surrounded by Cabrillo Coastal Park, the Aquarium is within accessible walking distance of sandy beaches, tide pools, a salt marsh, a fishing pier and great views of the Los Angeles Waterfront.
