Delve into the world of apothecary, potions, and voodoo at the New Orleans Pharmacy Museum. It's housed in the 1823 Creole apothecary of America’s first licensed pharmacist, Louis Dufilho Jr, and it's home to 200-year-old bottles of potions and medicines.
Explore two floors of the museum and you'll learn all about the history of pharmacy, medicine, and healthcare in New Orleans. There's everything from perfumes and cosmetics to voodoo potions and surgical instruments. The historic courtyard also has its own medicinal herb garden and relaxed seating areas.
