The 9/11 Tribute Museum will give you a unique first person perspective of people who experienced 9/11. In this self-guided tour, learn about the rescue and recovery operations, the rebuilding of communities and be inspired by personal journeys of healing and acts of generosity from around the world in the wake of the attacks on 11 September, 2001. Using artifacts and testimonies from survivors and family members, you will discover more about the spirit of resilience and community that arose after the attacks.

Hours of Operation

Monday–Saturday, 10:00 am–6:00 pm;
Sunday, 10:00 am–5:00 pm.

Closings & Holidays

9/11 Anniversary, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. All holiday hours are subject to change without notice.

Know before you go

Please Note: The 9/11 Tribute Museum should not be confused with the 9/11 Memorial Museum. The 9/11 Memorial is always free and open to the public and does not require tickets.

The Tribute Museum is a project of the September 11th Families’ Association. Staff are 9/11 family members, survivors, rescue and recovery workers, civilian volunteers or lower Manhattan residents whose personal stories are shared with you and are a testament to the human spirit.
