Your New York Explorer Pass includes

  • One-hour guided 9/11 Memorial tour
  • Admission to the 9/11 Tribute Museum galleries

Take a guided tour of the 9/11 Memorial and hear stories and authentic accounts from firefighters, police officers, survivors and family members who were affected by the events of 9/11. You’ll learn about the community that rebuilt Lower Manhattan, the reconstruction efforts and the historic facts.

Hours of Operation

Sunday-Friday at 11:00 am, 12:00 pm, 1:00 pm, 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm; 
Saturday at 10:30 am, 11:00 am, 12:00 pm, 12:30 pm, 1:00 pm, 1:30 pm, 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm.

Tours are available on a first-come, first-served basis. It may not be appropriate for children under the age of 6. The last ticket is sold 30 minutes prior to closing.

Tribute Museum Hours:
Monday–Saturday, 10:00 am–6:00 pm; 
Sunday, 10:00 am–5:00 pm.

Closings & Holidays

9/11 Anniversary, Thanksgiving, & Christmas Day. All holiday hours are subject to change without notice.

Last entry is 30 minutes prior to closing

Getting In: Tours are limited and subject to availability. Upon arrival, present your pass at the admission desk and you will be scheduled on the next available tour.

Please Note: The 9/11 Memorial Guided Tour should not be confused with the 9/11 Memorial Museum.

The Tribute Museum is a project of the September 11th Families’ Association. Guides are 9/11 family members, survivors, rescue and recovery workers, civilian volunteers or lower Manhattan residents whose personal stories are shared with you and are a testament to the human spirit.
