Universal Orlando to Open New Theme Park

Universal Orlando Resort is set to open a brand new theme park called Universal’s Epic Universe. https://www.instagram.com/p/B0n-_PNHIes/ The new park will cover a massive 750-acre site which is the equivalent of 990 football fields. Universal’s Epic Universe will nearly double Universal Orlando’s size. The new park will be almost as big as Universal Orlando Resort, Universal's Islands of Adventure and Universal's Volcano Bay water theme park put together. https://twitter.com/UniversalORL/status/1156938738884325384 But visitors won’t have far to travel from the original theme park.  Universal’s Epic Adventure will be just a 12-minute drive from Universal Orlando Resort. Universal hasn’t released many details yet. But it did reveal that Universal’s Epic Universe “will take guests on a journey where beloved stories expand into vibrant lands – and where that journey is as much a part of their adventure as the ultimate destination.” However, Universal has filed patents for two new tower rides, as reported by blooloop. However, they haven't confirmed if the tower rides are intended for Epic Universe. Theme park fans will have to keep guessing what the new park will entail. Industry experts expect Universal to spend at least US$3 billion on the park, so it is sure to be epic. But thrill-seekers shouldn’t go booking flights to Orlando just yet – Universal’s Epic Universe is expected to open in 2023, though no date has officially been set.
