With Go Rome, you can purchase an Explorer pass. The Explorer pass lets you choose a select number of attractions to visit within 30 days. Once you've purchased your pass, it's ready to use. Simply download your pass to the free Go City app and you can start exploring the city and making huge savings. There's no need to choose your attractions before you buy with the Explorer pass. You can pick and choose as you go - just be sure to check the attraction page to see if you need to make a reservation before.
What does the Go Rome pass include?

Does the Go Rome pass include transportation?

What is the age range for child Go Rome passes?
Child passes are for ages 2 to 6. Adult passes are for ages 6+. If you're traveling as a family, we'd recommend purchasing child passes. They're an easy way to budget, save on attraction prices, and have all your tickets conveniently in one place.
How does the Explorer pass work?
The Explorer pass is perfect for sightseers who are visiting a city for longer and want to take their time seeing the sights without much of a time constraint.
You'll have unlimited access to all the non-premium attractions for the duration of your pass. If you select a 4, 5, 6 or 7-day pass, you can also choose one of our premium experiences which include the Colosseum, Palatine Hill and Roman Forum with Go Line Privileges along with the St. Peter's Dome Climb, Basilica & Vatacombs, and a Pasta & Tiramisu Making Class.
With the Explorer pass, you can choose the number of attractions you're interested in seeing, either 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7. Once you've activated your pass by visiting an attraction, you'll then have up to 60 days to visit the rest. There is no need to choose which attractions you'd like to see before you purchase the card, you can pick and choose any of the Explorer attractions as you go. This allows you to change your mind and wait and see what you feel like in the moment.

Do I need to make reservations at any attractions?
Certain attractions, like tours and shows, may require an advanced reservation. Please make sure to check each attraction page to find any necessary reservation information. Please note, making reservations will NOT activate your pass. Your pass is only activated when you visit your first attraction.
How long is my Go Rome Explorer pass valid?
Once you've activated by your pass by visiting an attraction, you'll then have up to 60 days to visit the rest.

What are the Go Rome pass purse values?
Each Rome pass is subject to a purse value which is based on the duration of the pass.
The purse value is the maximum amount you can use based on the standard gate price for each attraction. For example, with a six-choice adult Explorer pass (worth €188.22), you can visit six attractions up to the total cost of €256.

Can I use my confirmation email to enter attractions?
Your confirmation email will contain instructions on how to download your pass and start scanning it for admission. You can also print your passes from your confirmation email if you'd prefer a ticket to hand in.

The most popular attractions in Rome such as Vatican Museums, Colosseum or St Peter's Basilica operate a strict security check upon entry. Your bags, coats etc. may be searched at the security points before entering the attraction.
