In light of the outbreak, Go Rome has automatically updated passes to be valid for two years from the purchase date. If your travel plans have been disrupted, but you are planning on exploring Rome within the next two years, we suggest you hold on to your Go Rome pass and do not activate it until your next trip.

How does the Go Rome pass work?
With Go Rome, you can purchase an Explorer pass. The Explorer pass lets you choose a select number of attractions to visit within 30 days. Once you've purchased your pass, it's ready to use. Simply download your pass to the free Go City app and you can start exploring the city and making huge savings. There's no need to choose your attractions before you buy with the Explorer pass. You can pick and choose as you go - just be sure to check the attraction page to see if you need to make a reservation before.

What are the benefits of the Go Rome pass?

Does the Go Rome pass include transportation?
No, the Rome pass does not include transportation. But some attractions do take you on a tour around the city, like the Big Bus Rome Hop-On Hop-Off 1-Day Classic Tour.
What is the age range for child Go Rome passes?
Child passes are for ages 2 to 6. Adult passes are for ages 6+. If you're traveling as a family, we'd recommend purchasing child passes. They're an easy way to budget, save on attraction prices, and have all your tickets conveniently in one place.

How does the Explorer pass work?
The Explorer pass is perfect for sightseers who are visiting a city for longer and want to take their time seeing the sights without much of a time constraint.
You'll have unlimited access to all the non-premium attractions for the duration of your pass. If you select a 4, 5, 6 or 7-day pass, you can also choose one of our premium experiences which include the Colosseum, Palatine Hill and Roman Forum, St. Peter's Dome Climb, Basilica & Vatacombs, and a Pasta & Tiramisu Making Class.
With the Explorer pass, you can choose the number of attractions you're interested in seeing, either 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7. Once you've activated your pass by visiting an attraction, you'll then have up to 60 days to visit the rest. There is no need to choose which attractions you'd like to see before you purchase the card, you can pick and choose any of the Explorer attractions as you go. This allows you to change your mind and wait and see what you feel like in the moment.

What attractions are included on the Go Rome Explorer pass?
There are over 25 attractions to choose from on the Go Rome card. Use your card for admission to Rome's most popular attractions including Guided Tours of the Vatican, Sistine Chapel, and the Basilica of St. Peter, and much more. You'll find a huge range of things to do on the pass including food tours, cooking classes, and performances.

Does the Go Rome Explorer pass have exclusions?
There are no exclusions–you can visit each attraction once for the lifetime of your Explorer pass. There's no need to choose which attractions you'd like to see before you purchase the card, you can pick and choose any of the Explorer attractions as you go. This allows you to change your mind and wait and see what you feel like in the moment.
Do I need to make reservations at any attractions?
Some attractions may require reservations. This information is listed under Reservations. Your pass must be valid on the day of the reservation. Please note, making reservations will NOT activate your pass. Your pass is only activated when you visit your first attraction.
How long is my Go Rome Explorer pass valid?
Once you've activated by your pass by visiting an attraction, you'll then have up to 60 days to visit the rest.
You have one year from the date of purchase to begin using your pass. After one year, it will expire. Our cancellation policy gives you 90 days from your purchase date to return any non-activated passes for a refund.
Your refund will be subject to a processing fee, as outlined in our terms and conditions.

Cosa sono i “purse value” del pass Go Rome?
Each Rome pass is subject to a purse value which is based on the duration of the pass.
The purse value is the maximum amount you can use based on the standard gate price for each attraction. For example, with a six-choice adult Explorer pass (worth €164), you can visit six attractions up to the total cost of €250.

Do you ship Go Rome passes?
You'll receive everything digitally for your own convenience, so you can purchase a pass from anywhere in the world. This also gives you the option to purchase passes before your trip or while you're away.
Can I upgrade my pass after purchasing?
Unfortunately, we don't have an option to upgrade passes currently.
Can I purchase a Go Rome pass for someone else?
Yes. Just make sure to use their name and email address at checkout.
Do you offer military or senior citizen discounts?
No, we don't offer discounts for seniors or military. If you sign up to our Go City emails, you can save even more on your first Explorer pass purchase.
Using my pass
How will I receive my Go Rome pass?
You'll get your pass via email as soon as your order processes. Choose between 2 options: Use your pass right on your phone with the free Go City app. Print your pass and guidebook at home. Links and easy-to-follow instructions for both options will be in your confirmation email.
How can I look up my order if I lost my email confirmation?
Visit our Order Lookup page to access your Go Rome passes or to email customer support if you don't have your order number or email on-hand.
Can I use my confirmation email to enter attractions?
Your confirmation email will contain instructions on how to download your pass and start scanning it for admission. You can also print your passes from your confirmation email if you'd prefer a ticket to hand in.
Using my Go City Pass
How do I use my Go Rome pass?
Once you have your pass, it's ready to use. All you have to do is turn up at your chosen attraction and get your pass scanned for admission.
Please check individual attractions for reservation details, in case you need to book beforehand.
How do I activate my Go Rome pass?
Easy: simply visit your first attraction to activate your Go Rome pass.
Can I visit the same attraction more than once?
You can visit each attraction just once with a Go Rome pass.
