This is where Johnson and First Lady Claudia "Lady Bird" Taylor resided when they weren't in Washington. An underrated aspect of the tour is the insight you get into the German migration and influence on the area, including the town of Luckenbach. It also just so happens that an award-winning winery is located in Luckenbach nowadays.
