How may COVID-19 impact your visit to Sydney?

We’re happy to let you know that attractions are starting to re-open and they’re looking forward to welcoming you. That being said, we advise you to check the individual attraction websites for their most up-to-date information - we’ve included a full list below. 

We’re working closely with attractions to help keep you up-to-date. To make it even easier for you to see scheduled reopenings, we’ve added flags to attraction images on the website - which highlight when an attraction is planning on opening. This information is also listed on the ‘Essentials’ section of each individual attraction page. 

Will entry to attractions be different?

Those attractions that have reopened may have done so with some changes to how Go Sydney pass holders gain entry, and we’re working closely with them to ensure it’s seamless for you. On the attraction pages of our website, we’re adding the information we receive to the ‘Know before you go’ section at the bottom of the page, and we advise that you check this when planning your visit. This section may include changes like queuing further apart - each attraction will have its own process in place. 

We’ve also added some new attraction filters to help you plan your visit including ‘Outside of the city’ and ‘Outdoor attractions’ which you can find on the attraction list page under each pass. 

What is contactless entry? 

Our passes are digital - you simply download them via our app and they live on your phone for when you need them. There is no need to exchange cash or card for payment and attractions will not need to hold your phone to scan the pass. We’re working with as many attractions as possible to encourage contactless entry. 

Should I purchase a pass now, even though I am not sure of my exact travel dates?
