  • How is COVID-19 impacting my upcoming travel plans with my Go Sydney pass?

    Attractions in Sydney are starting to open and we're working closely with them to ensure a seamless experience during your visit. We advise you check the individual attraction website for the latest opening news. 

    In light of the outbreak, Go Sydney has automatically updated passes to be valid for two years from the purchase date. If your travel plans have been disrupted, but you are planning on exploring Sydney within the next two years, we suggest you hold on to your Go Sydney pass and do not activate it until your next trip.

  • How does the Sydney pass work?

    There are two pass types to choose from - Explorer and Build Your Own. The Explorer pass lets you choose a select number of attractions to visit within 60 days. The Build Your Own pass lets you create your own attraction pass to use within 30 days. Once you've chosen your pass type and purchased, it's ready to use. Simply download your pass to the free Go City app and you can start exploring the city and making huge savings. There's no need to choose your attractions before you buy with the Explorer pass. You can pick and choose as you go - just be sure to check the attraction page to see if you need to make a reservation before.

Explorer Pass

  • How does the Explorer pass work?

    The Explorer pass is perfect for sightseers who are visiting a city for longer and want to take their time seeing the sights without much of a time constraint.

    With the Explorer pass, you can choose the number of attractions you're interested in seeing, either 3, 4, 5, or 7. Once you've activated your pass by visiting an attraction, you'll then have up to 60 days to visit the rest. There is no need to choose which attractions you'd like to see before you purchase the card, you can pick and choose any of the Explorer attractions as you go. This allows you to change your mind and wait and see what you feel like in the moment.

    There are over 24+ attractions to choose from on the Sydney Explorer pass.   • How long is my Sydney Explorer pass valid?

    Once you've activated by your pass by visiting an attraction, you'll then have up to 30 days to visit the rest. For example, if you buy a 4-Choice Explorer pass and visit your first attraction on May 1st, you'll have through May 29th to visit your remaining three attractions.

    You have two years from the date of purchase to begin using your pass. After two years, it will expire.

Build Your Own pass

  • How does the Build Your Own pass work?

    The Build Your Own pass is perfect for sightseers who know exactly what attractions they want to visit and want plenty of time to visit them in.

    You can select as many attractions as you want, and you'll have up to 60 days from first activation to visit them in.   • How long is my Sydney Build Your Own pass valid?

    Once you've purchased a Sydney Build Your Own pass, you'll have up to a year to use it. As soon as you activate your pass by visiting your first attraction, it'll be valid for the number of remaining attractions you've purchased over 60 days.

  • How much does the Sydney Build Your Own pass cost?

    Each Build Your Own pass is unique, which means prices vary depending on which attractions are added to your pass. Getting my pass

  • How do I receive the Sydney pass?

    You'll receive the Sydney pass digitally via email after you've purchased. You'll then have the option to print off your pass(es) at home or download them onto the free Go City app and use them straight from your phone.

  • Who do I contact if I haven't received my pass?

    Please allow up to two hours to receive your pass and remember to check your email spam folder. If you still haven't received it after then, contact our customer services team on the email form or phone numbers listed below.

  • Can I receive my Sydney pass through the mail?

    The Sydney passes are delivered digitally for your convenience. You'll receive your pass over email and can either print it off or download it to the Go City app and start using it instantly.

  • How can I look up my order if I lost my email confirmation?

    Visit our Order Lookup page to access your Sydney Passes or to email customer support if you don't have your order number or email on-hand. 

  • Can I use my confirmation email to enter attractions?

    Your confirmation email will contain instructions on how to download your pass and start scanning it for admission. You can also print your passes from your confirmation email if you'd prefer a ticket to hand in.

    We accept PayPal, Google Pay, and Apple Pay as well as most debit and credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.

  • How much do the Sydney passes cost?

  • Do you offer military or senior citizen discounts?

    No, we don't offer discounts for seniors, military, or students. If you sign up for our Go City emails, you can save even more on your first Explorer pass purchase.

  • Who do I contact if I have trouble purchasing?

    You'll receive everything digitally for your own convenience, so you can purchase a pass from anywhere in the world. This also gives you the option to purchase passes before your trip or while you're away.

  • Can I upgrade my pass after purchase?

    Unfortunately, we don't have an option to upgrade passes currently. Check out our pass comparison page to see which pass is best for you, whether you're flexible with your travel plans or on a strict time schedule.

  • Do you offer group discounts?

Digital Pass

  • How do I receive the Sydney pass?

  • How does the Go City app work?

    The Go City app is free and available for both Apple and Android devices. Download directly to your smartphone and show your pass at each attraction to be scanned for admission. The app includes your pass(es), Go Sydney pass guidebook, itineraries, and more.

  • Can I use my confirmation email to enter attractions?

    Your confirmation email will contain instructions on how to download your pass and start scanning it for admission. You can also print your passes from your confirmation email if you'd prefer a ticket to hand in.

  • How can I look up my order if I lost my email confirmation?

    Visit our Order Lookup page to access your Go Sydney passes or to email customer support if you don't have your order number or email on-hand. 

How to use my pass

  • How do I use my Sydney pass?

    Once you have your pass, it's ready to use. All you have to do is turn up at your chosen attraction and get your pass scanned for admission. Please check individual attractions for reservation details, in case you need to book beforehand.

  • How long does a Sydney pass last?

    Both the Explorer pass and the Build Your Own pass will be valid 60 days from first use giving you plenty of time to visit your chosen attractions.

  • Can I visit the same attraction more than once?

    No. If you have an Explorer or Build Your Own pass, you'll be able to visit your selected attractions once.

  • When will my Sydney pass expire?

    Once you've purchased a Sydney pass, you'll have up to a year to use it. As soon as you activate your pass, it'll be valid for up to 30 days.

  • Can other people use my Sydney pass?

    No. Once a pass is activated (by using it at an attraction), it can only be used by that individual. Passes cannot be re-sold or used by more than one person.

  • Can I get a refund on my Sydney pass?

    Our 90-day cancellation policy gives you 90 days from your purchase date to return any non-activated passes for a refund, terms and conditions apply. Just contact our Customer Care Team using the form below and provide your order number for a refund.

  • Do I need to make reservations to enter attractions?

    Most attractions will let you scan your pass and go straight in, but a few will require reservations beforehand. Please check the individual attraction pages to see whether you'll need to make a reservation.

  • Can I skip the line with a Sydney pass?

    You'll get skip-the-ticket-line access to select attractions with your Sydney pass. Each attraction will specify whether this exclusive privilege is included with admission. Look out for other special offers and discounts included with your pass too.

  • Can I upgrade my pass after purchase?
