Kunstgewerbemuseum Kulturforum (Museum of Decorative Arts)

The Kunstgewerbemuseum, or Museum of Decorative Arts, is an internationally renowned museum of decorative arts in Berlin, Germany.

Housed in two separate buildings, it's one of the most extravagant museums of its kind, displaying large scale tapestries, extravagant lacquerware and wall panels along with valuable centerpieces, porcelain, and silver. The sumptuous displays offer visitors a study of German art history and it’s influence through the ages.

The Kulturforum contains some of the exhibits, while the stately Köpenick Palace, a grand Baroque mansion contains the rest. The Kulturforum is characterized by its innovative modernist architecture.
