- The largest tortoise species in the world, the Galapagos tortoise can reach 4ft in length and 475 pounds in weight.
- Humboldt penguins primarily eat small fish like sardines and anchovies as well as squid, they use coordinated group hunting techniques when in the wild.
- Gorillas are the largest primates in the world and are closely related to humans, with 98% of their DNA identical to us.
- A full-grown giraffe consumes over 100 pounds of leaves and twigs a day.
