Construction of the tree-shaped Palm Jumeirah archipelago began in 2001, with the first residents moving in by 2006.
A monorail connects the Palm Jumeirah to the mainland.
Opened in 2021 and standing 787.4 feet and 52 stories high, the Palm Tower is currently the tallest building on the Palm Jumeirah.
The elevator reaches the tower's 52nd floor observatory in just 45 seconds.

The observation deck provides stunning 360-degree views of the iconic Palm Jumeirah, the Arabian Gulf, and Dubai’s skyline. The journey to the top is smooth and well-organized, with informative exhibits explaining the vision and development of the Palm. The viewing area is spacious, allowing visitors to enjoy the scenery comfortably and capture amazing photos. Both daytime and sunset visits are equally impressive. The staff are friendly and professional, enhancing the overall experience. However, the photos clicked by the staff are quite expensive and could be more affordable to encourage more visitors to take home professional memories. Overall, it remains a must-visit attraction in Dubai.
