Perched high above the City of Angels stands the Griffith Observatory, an iconic landmark and the backdrop for a myriad of film and media moments. Since its opening in 1935, it has become the most-visited public observatoy in the world and you can experience all its wonder without missing a thing.

Take a tour designed by some of the observatory's former employees so you can rest easy knowing you're in the hands of a pro. Your expert guide will lead you on an exciting historical and scientific tour where you'll come across some amazing sights such as a Tesla Coil demonstration, overhead Greek mythology-inspired murals, the Albert Einstein statue, and loads more!

The tour is also a great opportunity to catch some social media moments as the Obervatory's decks has incredible panoramic views of the city, especially the Hollywood Sign. You'll visit the Observatory roof to learn about the famous Zeiss telescope and be one of the millions of people to take a look through its lenses.

The Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT) operates daily low cost Observatory/Los Feliz public bus service from the Vermont/Sunset Metro Red Line station to the Observatory. Observatory/Los Feliz service operates daily from 10AM–10PM.
