How do Go City Oahu passes work?
Go City Oahu passes are digital sightseeing passes that get you into top experiences across the island, all for one price.
But first, you’ll need to choose your pass type:
The All-Inclusive Pass
-
Choose 2, 3, 4, 5, or 7 days, and visit as many included attractions and tours as you want each day.
-
Best for travelers who want to go all in and see it all.
-
You’ll have 14 days to use pass, so you don’t need to do your full-on sightseeing days back-to-back, unless you want to of course!
The Explorer Pass
-
Choose 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 choices (you don’t need to pick attractions before you go, just pick how many you want to visit).
-
You’ll have 30 days from your first attraction visit to use up your remaining choices.
-
Ideal if you’re on a relaxed island schedule or just want to cherry-pick a few highlights.
Both passes are 100% digital, live in the Go City app and help you save big vs. buying tickets separately.
Buying and activating your pass
- Buy online – head to the official Go City website or app to grab your pass for the best deals and access to our dedicated customer services.
- Download the Go City app – your pass lives here, along with maps, attraction info, opening hours, and any booking links, if needed. Just tap the link in your confirmation email to sync your pass to the app.
- Activate it when you’re ready –
- All-Inclusive passes activate the first time you scan, and last for 14 days (or until you’ve used your selected number of days).
- Explorer passes start on first use and stay valid for 30 days, so you can stretch your adventures out.
Using your pass on the day
Flash your pass on your phone at the entrance or tour check-in, and you’re done. No printing.
No fumbling with paper tickets in the sea breeze or trying to find some cell signal to hunt through old emails!

Are Go City Oahu passes worth it?
Let’s put it this way: if you’re planning to do more than one or two experiences, yes – Go City can save you serious cash.
Take this sample 2-day All-Inclusive itinerary for example:
Day 1:
SUP Morning Yoga ($57.36)
Polynesian Cultural Center ($103.50)
Day 2:
Pearl Harbour and Honolulu City Tour ($73.07)
Makani Catamaran Sail ($143.10)
That adds up to an individual ticket cost of $377.43.
With a 2-day All-Inclusive Pass for $214 you’d save $163.43 on entry – that’s about 43% with only 2 attractions a day. Add in an evening activity and you’ll be saving even more!*

Here’s the lowdown:
-
All-Inclusive passes: visit as many attractions as you like per day of your pass, access all attractions, including one premium experience per pass. Once your pass is activated (scanned at the first attraction), you’ll have 14 days to use your remaining pass days.
-
Explorer passes: you choose 3–7 attractions and you’ve got 30 days to use them – a premium experience is NOT included.
Tips & tricks for making the most of your pass
1. Start early
The earlier you get going, the more you can fit in (and beat the heat). Try to plan more active experiences like hikes or walking tours for the morning when it’s slightly cooler, and more waterbased chilled activities like a cruise or snorkel trip for the afternoon. You’ll also find some attractions are less crowded earlier in the day, meaning shorter waits and more time to explore.
2. Use the app
The Go City app is your best friend in Oahu. Check attraction opening hours, see if any experiences need reservations, and use the map to get directions straight to your next stop. You can even save your favorites to a custom trip plan, so everything’s in one place – no scrolling through endless tabs.
3. Plan by area
Oahu might be an island, but getting from one side to the other can take longer than you think – especially if you’re stopping to enjoy the scenery. Group your activities by location to make the most of your time. Spend one day soaking up the sun and nightlife of Waikiki, another exploring the laid-back North Shore, and perhaps a third in the historic sites around Pearl Harbor.
4. Pack smart
A little preparation goes a long way in Oahu. Bring reef-safe sunscreen to protect both your skin and the island’s fragile marine life, water shoes for rocky beaches or tide pools and swim gear if you’re planning to snorkel or kayak. A reusable water bottle is essential to stay hydrated in the warm climate, and a light rain jacket can be a lifesaver in a quick tropical shower.
5. Mix & match
Your Go City Oahu pass gives you access to a huge range of experiences, so don’t feel you have to stick to one theme. Balancing highenergy activities with more relaxed ones will help you make the most of each day without burning out, as well as creating the ideal blend of bucket-list and off-the-beaten-track experiences.
Reservations required? No problem!
Some top Oahu attractions require reservations – but don’t worry, booking is easy via the Go City app and all the information you’ll need is in there.
