Gatorland: The Alligator Capital of the World

Gatorland is a 110-acre theme park and wildlife preserve, boasting thousands of crocodiles and of course alligators. There is also a petting zoo, nature walk, educational wildlife exhibits and shows. Seeing someone wrestle a gator is a show that you can't catch just anywhere!

Kennedy Space Center

A visit to Central Florida really isn’t complete without spending some time at the inspiring and fascinating Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. During your visit, you will be able to take a tour of NASA's launch and landing facilities, try out interactive simulators, watch live shows, and experience jaw-dropping encounters with massive rockets. Depending on when you visit, you may also be able to meet a real astronaut!

Congo River Adventure Golf

Wait until the sun goes down to get your putt-putt on; Congo River Adventure Golf is open pretty late so you can avoid standing around in the sweltering August heat.

WonderWorks Orlando

Get out of the heat and head on over to WonderWorks, this amusement park is an arena of oddities, filled with zany exhibits, and a whole lot of fun. There are hurricane and earthquake simulators and so many more interactive exhibits at WonderWorks, it's a unique and fun experience for kids at every age.

Dolphin Racer Speedboat Cruise

Located in the nearby Tampa Bay and St. Petersburg area, this cruise is narrated and travels through elegant homes alone the inland waterways before jetting out into the Gulf of Mexico.
