WonderWorks: Hands-On Fun for Curious Minds

Located right on International Drive and just a stroll from Fun Spot America, WonderWorks is the place where curious kids and playful adults put their imaginations to the test. Instantly recognizable thanks to its upside-down exterior (seriously, the whole building looks like it crash-landed on its roof!), WonderWorks houses a world of interactive exhibits guaranteed to awaken your inner mad scientist. Step into a hurricane simulator, lie on a bed of nails, or challenge a buddy to blastoff in the astronaut training gyroscope.

What makes WonderWorks truly special is its unfiltered, hands-on vibe—you don’t just look at science here, you try it yourself! Kids and grown-ups can build, touch, spin, and problem-solve their way through hundreds of inventive displays. On a rainy day, or after a morning in the sun, WonderWorks delivers cool air, big laughs, and enough “a-ha!” moments to keep you talking long after you’ve stepped back outside.

SEA LIFE Aquarium: Dive Into Underwater Worlds

Just minutes from Fun Spot America, SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium invites you to discover the mysteries of the ocean without ever getting your feet wet. It’s hard not to feel a sense of wonder as you explore more than 5,000 sea creatures in habitats that mirror oceans around the world. The vibe isn’t just educational—it’s immersive, too, with glowing underwater tunnels, playful touch pools, and friendly staff who love sharing stories about their finned and flippered guests.

Check out the behind-the-scenes tours for a sneak peek at aquarium life, or time your visit for one of the feeding demonstrations—there’s something magical about watching giant groupers or rescued sea turtles at mealtime. SEA LIFE makes an unforgettable companion to your high-flying day at Fun Spot. It’s the perfect mix of relaxation and fascination.

Madame Tussauds Orlando: Meet Superstars and Legends

Chase your theme park thrills with a celebrity meet-and-greet at Madame Tussauds Orlando, just down the road from Fun Spot America. The vibe is part glamorous, part hilarious. Snap goofy photos with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, save the world with Wonder Woman and Aquaman, or belt out a ballad next to Ariana Grande. The likenesses here are so lifelike you’ll do a double take—and you’re encouraged to get right in on the action for the ultimate selfies.

Madame Tussauds isn’t a standard museum: it’s 100% interactive and playful, making it a haven for family photo ops, bachelorette crews, or anyone eager for a high-energy break between rides. Expect to leave with a phone full of unforgettable shots and more than a few tales to tell back home.

The Orlando Eye: See the City From a Whole New Height

The orlando eye

Soar to new heights on the Orlando Eye—an enormous observation wheel that’s one of Orlando’s most recognizable landmarks. Located at ICON Park (just a quick ride from Fun Spot America), each climate-controlled capsule offers jaw-dropping views over I-Drive, Universal, and on clear days, straight to the downtown skyline.

The slow, gentle ride is a welcomed pause after go-karts and coasters, perfect for catching your breath and soaking up city sights. At night, the wheel glows with vibrant lights, making it irresistible for a romantic sunset, family moment, or a group picture with all of Orlando at your feet.

Museum of Illusions: Mind-Bending Instagram Magic

Right in the heart of International Drive and a few minutes from Fun Spot, Museum of Illusions brings mind tricks and playful fun to every corner. Here, you’ll pose in upside-down rooms, shrink or grow before your friends’ eyes, and wander through a maze of head-scratching installations that make for the best photo ops in town.

What sets this spot apart is the sheer creativity: every exhibit feels like stepping into a live puzzle. It’s family-friendly, loaded with interactive rooms, and is just the ticket for groups hunting for something truly unique to punctuate their Orlando adventure.

The Outta Control Magic Comedy Dinner Show: Food, Magic & Laughter

You don’t have to travel far from Fun Spot to enjoy one of Orlando’s quirkiest live experiences. The Outta Control Magic Comedy Dinner Show, held right next door at WonderWorks, delivers nonstop entertainment for all ages. The ambiance is inviting, with table-side magic tricks that will baffle even the grown-ups, and a level of audience participation that keeps everyone on their toes. The unlimited pizza, salad, and drinks keep the hunger at bay, so you can focus on having fun and marveling at the next mind-blowing illusion.

It’s Orlando to the core—silly, imaginative, and crafted for every generation.

Congo River Adventure Golf: Putt-Putt with Jungle Thrills

Looking to keep the friendly competition alive? Congo River Adventure Golf, only a quick drive from Fun Spot, delivers a miniature golf experience packed with roaring waterfalls, wild décor, and just enough challenge for putt-putters of all ages.

It’s more than your standard mini-golf—themed caves, streams, and exotic scenery set the mood, while live gator feeding and gemstone mining add extra fun between holes. The course meanders through palm trees and rocky crags, creating the feeling of a tropical vacation within city limits. Whether you’re celebrating a hole-in-one or just enjoying the playful vibes, Congo River Adventure Golf is a must-do after a morning of rides.

Gatorland: Up-Close Encounters With the Real Locals

Swap roller coaster screams for alligator roars at Gatorland, Orlando’s classic “Alligator Capital of the World.” Just a short drive south, Gatorland’s blend of hokey fun and genuine Florida wildlife is legendary. Watch jaw-snapping gator shows, brave the Screamin’ Gator Zip Line over a swamp full of toothy residents, and see rare white alligators up close.

The park’s atmosphere is quirky and charming, with friendly keepers who turn wildlife facts into laugh-out-loud stories. There are walk-through aviaries, a petting zoo for the little ones, and splash areas to cool off. Make sure to feed a giant gator (with a well-placed pole, of course!)—it’s a Florida experience you won’t find anywhere else.

ICON Park: Shop, Snack, Snap & Explore

No trip near Fun Spot America is complete without a stop at ICON Park, just minutes away. Home to many of Orlando’s iconic experiences—The Orlando Eye, Madame Tussauds, and SEA LIFE Aquarium—all within easy walking distance, ICON Park offers more than sights. Evenings come alive with live music, pop-up events, and quirky photo ops at every corner. The energy is festive day and night, whether you’re after a date-night dinner with skyline views, a quick and cheerful family lunch, or an old-fashioned carousel ride. At ICON Park, Orlando’s best comes together in one unforgettable spot.
