The Top of the Hyatt bar doesn't exactly qualify as a beach bar because it's not situated on the beach, but when it comes to breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, you won't find a much better bar. All the way up on the 40th floor, the Top of the Hyatt bar is extremely sophisticated. Every time you take a sip of your favorite cocktail, you'll think to yourself, "so, this is what it must feel like to be a celebrity." After you're finished sipping on your favorite drink, the fun doesn't have to be over. You can always go on a harbor cruise with Go City.
Pacific Beach Shore Club
This bar draws a crowd like no other beach bar in San Diego. The Pacific Beach Shore Club features a large deck that, as long as it's sunny, is going to be packed. Head on over on Wednesdays to enjoy a goldfish race. Yes, you read that right. As you're cheering for your favorite fishy during your San Diego vacation, make sure to slam a couple of Red Bull vodka slushies. The Kracken
Looking for a dive bar? You'll need to head about 100 yards from Tower 13 to The Kracken. This isn't necessarily a dive bar where all of the younger adults hang. In fact, you're going to find it's home to an older crowd of drinkers. The bar features live music pretty much every day and incredibly cheap drinks. There's also a huge pool area. If you're looking for a middle-aged hangout, The Kracken is where it all goes down.
Wonderland Ocean Pub
Enjoy a table at the Wonderland Ocean Pub, but come early or you're going to find yourself in a long waiting line. Enjoy brunch at this pub, and even better, enjoy $10 bottles of champagne until 2 in the afternoon. After you're finished with your meal and drinks, head on over to the San Diego Safari Park Zoo.
Tower 23

Hotel del Coronado
