The Walt Disney Family Museums features 40,000 square feet of interactive and entertaining exhibits and galleries, including over 200 video screens and an intricate model of Disneyland. You’ll get to see early drawings of Disney characters, cartoons, movies, music, listening stations, and more, all narrated in Walt’s own voice.

Seven Disney characters have stars on the Walk of Fame – Mickey Mouse, Snow White, Kermit the Frog, Donald Duck, Winnie the Pooh, Tinker Bell, and The Muppets.

The Walt Disney Family Museum is located at 104 Montgomery Street in the Presidio of San Francisco, California. Please be aware that there are two Montgomery Streets in San Francisco—the museum is located in the Presidio of San Francisco, NOT in the Financial District. Remember to enter the zip code 94129 when planning your route.

There are many ways to get to the museum. Below is a short list of recommendations. For comprehensive details, visit waltdisney.org/transportation.

Parking: there are multiple parking lots in The Presidio. The largest and closest is located on the Main Post across from the museum, between Lincoln Ave and Sheridan Ave. Paid parking is enforced from 8AM–6PM; please see posted signs and machines for current rates.

Rideshare: rideshare drop-off and pick-up is located in front of the museum.

Bus

Presidio GO Shuttle: Free shuttle system operating around the Presidio, and between the Presidio and downtown San Francisco.

Muni Bus Lines (SFMTA): San Francisco’s network of buses, light rails, cable cars, and streetcars

Golden Gate Transit: Public transit system supporting the North Bay region

Bicycle: bicycle rentals are available through bike share stations around the Presidio and can be activated through the Lyft mobile app. Bicycle parking is located on the south side of the building, to the left of the main entrance. Locks are NOT supplied by the museum or Presidio.
