If you're looking for a Bondi Beach surfing experience, but with considerably fewer tourists and more natural beauty, then Maroubra is your answer. Maroubra Beach is a NSW National Surfing Reserve, so it's no surprise it's a popular surf beach and a much-loved hangout for the locals.

With your pass, you'll get a surfboard and wetsuit hire and you'll also be provided with sunscreen and zinc to keep you protected from the sun. 

Top Tips

• The best time to surf is low tide, so don't hesitate to ask when this is! 
• No experience is necessary as you can surf in waist-deep water, but we recommend that surfers are able to swim 50m. 
• For your safety, it's worth reading up on surfing etiquette before you hit the waves.

Getting in: simply show your pass at the surf shop and you're good to go! 

Please note: your pass includes surfboard and wetsuit rental only. A surf lesson is not included with this attraction. 

2-Hour Surfboard & Wetsuit Hire information

• Bring a bathing suit to wear under your wetsuit rental and a towel. 
• There are no lockers for storing valuables so leave them at your hotel or residence. 
• Surfboard rentals are based on availability when you arrive and cannot be reserved (call in advance to avoid showing up and not being able to rent).
