  • What's the difference between Go New York and New York Explorer Pass?

    New York Explorer Pass is now part of the Go City family, but the pass is exactly the same as it was before. Enjoy the same discounts on top New York attractions and special privileges like skip-the-line. Go New York includes both Explorer and Build Your Own options so you can sightsee NYC your own way.

  • Do you offer group discounts?
    Yes, we do. If you are traveling with a group of 10 or more, you may be eligible for a group discount. Please contact [email protected] to learn more about special rates.
  • Do you offer discounts for seniors, military, or students?
    No, we do not.
  • I have a promotional code for New York Explorer Pass, how can I use it?

    Once you have arrived at the "Buy Now" page for New York Explorer Pass, you can scroll to toward the bottom of the page and enter your promotional code. If the code that you have entered is valid, you will see the discount reflected on the price of your order. Please keep in mind that your promo code discount cannot be combined with an existing online sale.

  • Why should I buy online?
    Purchasing Go New York online can benefit you in multiple ways. You get to take advantage of the online discounts whereas if you were purchasing the pass in New York, you would be required to pay the full price.
  • Can I buy the New York Explorer Pass in New York?

    Yes, there are several locations you can purchase New York Explorer Pass from when in the city. Please see all locations here

Refund policy

  • What is your refund policy?

    Our Risk Free Guarantee gives you 30 days from your purchase date to return any non-activated passes for a full refund.

Getting and using your pass

  • How do I activate my pass?

    Easy: simply visit your first attraction to activate your New York Explorer Pass

  • How long is my pass valid for?

    Once activated, your pass will be valid for 30 days. You can activate your pass by visiting your first attraction.

    You'll have one year from the date of purchase to activate your pass. After one year, it will expire.

  • How will I get my pass?
    You'll get your pass via email as soon as your order processes. Choose between 2 options: Use your pass right on your phone with the free Go City Card app. Print your pass and guidebook at home. Links and easy-to-follow instructions for both options will be in your confirmation email.
  • Can other people use my pass?
    No. Go New York products are non-transferable and may not be re-sold.
  • Can I visit the same attraction more than once?
    You can visit each attraction just once with Go New York.
  • What is the age range for a child pass? What should I do if my child is under the minimum age?
    Child passes are for travelers ages 3 to 12 years old. If you have a child under the age minimum, check with the attractions in advance. Most attractions do not charge for children under the age of 3 (with some exceptions, especially if an attraction is geared towards children).
  • What are Go Line Privileges?

    Go Line Privileges allow Go New York travelers to skip the ticketing line and enter the attraction. Go Line Privileges allow you to get into each attraction quicker so you have more time to visit attractions.

  • Do I need to make reservations to visit the attractions?
    Certain attractions, like tours and shows, may require an advanced reservation. Please make sure to check each attraction page to find any necessary reservation information. Please note, making reservations will NOT activate your pass. Your pass is only activated when you visit your first attraction.
