For over half a century, Gatorland has been delighting visitors. This historic major attraction in Florida brings you gators... and lots of them. See how they rest and play, witness live feeding, and watch brave trainers attempt to wrestle with eight-foot gators. Gatorland prides itself on its low-tech, low-maintenance, and authentic Florida experience for millions of visitors. Despite its name, Gatorland is more than just gators. The park spans 110 acres and is a haven for other wildlife, showcasing the beauty of the swamp as an ecologically diverse paradise for flora and fauna.

Gator Jumparoo Show
This is the show that made Gatorland famous. Watch dozens of alligators compete for the best meat during a feeding frenzy.
Gator Wrestlin’ Show
It's man versus gator. Watch this Crocodile Dundee-style show as a brave trainer wrestles with a 6 to 8-foot gator.
Up-Close Encounters
Snakes, insects, exotic birds, and animals from around the world are brought to this show for you to see.
Adventure Hour
Take a daring trip into the heart of the Breeding Marsh for a behind-the-scenes tour of Gatorland. Reservations required, may be separately priced.
Gator Chow/Gator & Snake Photo
Stop by the bait shack on the main walkway to bring your friendly offerings to the hungry reptiles, then head to the gator photo area to capture the experience.
Allie’s Barnyard Petting Zoo
Let your little ones get close to the animals. This area features the opportunity to pet other cute, less ferocious park animals outside of the enclosures and experience feeding.

Alligators appeared on Earth about the same time as the extinction of the dinosaurs and are described as living fossils.
The two existing species of alligator are the Chinese alligator and the American alligator.
The American alligator can weigh up to half a ton.
Alligators can grow up to 80 teeth at a time, and as they wear down, new teeth grow to replace the worn ones.
Alligators and crocodiles are often mistaken for each other, but they do look different. Alligators have a narrower V-shaped snout, while crocodiles have a much wider one.
