Join this tour of New York’s most exciting nightlife spots and visit three or more iconic bars, cocktail lounges, speakeasies and rooftop lounges. Your knowledgeable guide will give you the inside scoop on New York bar hopping.
The Bar Lounge & Rooftop Walking Tour will visit the Midtown West and Hell’s Kitchen areas of New York and learn about the area’s regeneration.
Listen to evocative storytelling about NYC’s immigration history and the 1970s-1990’s regeneration of Times Square.
In the 70s, Times Square had a reputation of being gritty and derelict, with countless go-go bars and adult theaters concentrated around 42nd Street.
By the ‘90s, the area had transformed, shedding its risqué reputation and boasting new entertainment buildings featuring the bright lights and signs synonymous with today’s Times Square.
The tour will last around three hours. Tour members will get express entry to each venue, with food and drinks available for purchase. Guests are welcome to stay at the final bar and enjoy the rest of their evening.
With incredible cityscape views from the rooftops, atmospheric live music and more, this tour is a great opportunity to get a deeper understanding of New York nightlife.
