Explore the home of the Big Five Australian animals—snap a selfie with a koala, meet kangaroos, get up close to a freshwater crocodile, watch wombat Ringo play in his habitat, and see the platypus swim. All these exciting activities can be experienced at Darling Harbour in the heart of the city.

Crocodile Billabong
See freshwater crocodiles from all angles at the Crocodile Billabong.
Kangaroo Walkabout
Get up close with kangaroos at the Kangaroo Walkabout.
Wallaby Cliffs
Home to some of Australia's fiercest animals, including yellow-footed rock wallabies and the bare-nosed wombat Ringo!
Koala Rooftop
Get up close to a family of fluffy koalas and snap a photo with one of Australia's most iconic animals.

Saltwater crocodiles can grow up to 6.5 meters long and they can weigh up to 1.5 tonnes.
They communicate by slapping their heads on the water, blowing bubbles, and making low-frequency sounds.
Koalas can sleep between 18 to 22 hours a day and they're most active at night.
They dine exclusively on eucalyptus leaves and can eat up to 400g per day.
