What you'll do
Located at the historic Waialua Sugar Mill on the north shore of Oahu, this family-owned working factory is where dozens of soap varieties and skincare products, using all-natural, environmentally friendly ingredients are created.
On the tour, you'll learn about how the soap is made, from mixing, pouring and swirling to cutting, and become acquainted with the multiple uses of kukui nut (from Hawaii’s official state tree!).
From essential oils of rosemary to rosewood, peppermint to patchouli, you’ll come away armed with knowledge on which ingredients suit your needs best, whether you’re after a glowing complexion, something stress-relieving, or some simple, mild product for sensitive skin. Be sure to have a browse in the store at the end of your tour where the soaps are available for you to try!
