Step inside Fabrique des Lumières and experience art on a completely different scale. Set inside a former gasworks in Amsterdam West, this immersive digital art space surrounds you with giant projections, music and moving images that transform the walls, floors and ceilings around you. Enjoy the feeling of stepping into your favorite artworks by legends like Van Gogh and Monet, or roam the plains with dinosaurs.

Each exhibition combines light, sound and technology to bring artistic movements to life in a new way. As images shift around the vast industrial space, you’re free to wander, pause and take it all in from different angles. Tipps zur Besuchszeit
The museum's crowds are difficult to predict and depend on the day, week, and time. We recommend planning your visit in the morning or in the evening as these tend to be the quietest slots.
Rollstuhlzugänglichkeit
Fabrique des Lumières is partially wheelchair accessible. Almost all rooms are located on the ground floor. Only the elevated platform in the main hall and the toilet on the first floor are not wheelchair accessible. There is one accessible toilet on the ground floor.
Wheelchairs, wheeled walkers, and mobility scooters weighing up to 500kg and no more than 80cm in width are permitted in the museum. You can loan a foldable seat or a wheelchair at the entrance.
