You'll get to learn all about the more mystical histories of Barcelona, as you marvel at perfect panoramas of the city below and stroll through spell-binding gardens on your two-hour walking tour of Montjuïc.

Stroll through the lush gardens of Mirador del Alcalde and Joan Brossa, often known as the Green Lung of Barcelona, as your guide tells you the stories of the witches and famous dancers who've lived there. Think romantic flower gardens, sculptures and waterfalls overlooking the sea.

You'll unearth the mysterious roots of the Catalan dancing tradition, La Sardana,  and hear the captivating tale of one of Spain's most famous flamenco dancers, Carmen Amaya. 

Then you'll head down to the spectacular Magic Fountain of Montjuïc.

Montjuïc Walking Tour highlights

Montjuïc Castle – enjoy breathtaking views of this massive 17th-century fortress, located at the summit of Montjuïc Mountain,173 meters above sea level. 

Mirador del Alcalde – a belvedere in a garden with tiered waterfalls overlooking the sea, boasting spectacular panoramic views of the city. 

Joan Brossa Gardens and Sardana's statue – stroll through these scenic grounds with beautiful fountains and sculptures, including one dedicated to the unique art of Catalan dance, the Sardana.

Carmen Amaya's monument – check out the statue of Barcelona's most famous flamenco dancer.

Laribal Gardens and Cat's Fountain – the greenest side of Montjuïc, where witches and wizards used to gather!

The Greek Theater – take a look at the flower-filled open-air theater that today, hosts concerts and festivals.

The Magic Fountain – enjoy the waterfall-lined walk and marvel at the stunning architecture along the way.
