Casa Vicens was the first house that Gaudí designed and one of his most important works.The architectural gem was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2005 and uses a variety of different materials, vibrant colors, and unique features.Explore its impressive interiors and see the Neo-Mudéjar architecture up close. Head up to the second floor of the house to browse the permanent collection and discover more than 130 years of history. Learn all about Gaudí's intellectual influences, inspiration, and his projects prior to building the house. You'll also see a reproduction of the Reus manuscript, in which Gaudí wrote down everything from his accounts to his reflections on architecture.Along with the permanent collection, there are temporary exhibitions throughout the year focussing on Spanish culture and art.

Barcelona Aquarium boasts over 11,000 animals, 450 different species, an underwater tunnel and live feedings - look out for some of the star species, such as sharks, eels and rays.You’ll get to view 14 different Mediterranean-themed aquariums and learn more about the incredible creatures that call the ocean their home. See Humboldt penguins, gaze up at sharks swimming above your head, and admire the colorful fish in the tropical tanks.The aquarium also hosts a regular calendar of events including educational talks to teach about marine conservation and shark cage diving.

Head to the funicular station and take a comfortable cable car all the way up to Montjuïc Park.Take a leisurely ride on the Barcelona telefèric: a smooth 750-metre journey all the way to the top of Montjuïc Mountain - an architectural beauty and the epicenter of the 1992 Barcelona Olympic games. You'll see plenty of special sights, from the towering Torre Glòries to Gaudi's crowning glory, the Sagrada Família.The route starts at Parc de Montjuïc, where your smart, comfy cable car glides directly up to Castell de Montjuïc. On your return journey, you'll have the option to stop off at Mirador de l’Alcalde – we highly recommend you spend a relaxing hour or so wandering around the colorful Miramar Costa I Llobera, Cinto Verdaguer and Joan Brossa Gardens. You'll land right back in Parc de Montjuïc, although for keen walkers, there's also the option to walk back down from the Mirador stopping point.Each carriage hosts up to eight people, so there's plenty of room for the whole family.

See one of Gaudí’s architectural masterpieces up close with a trip to La Pedrera.This striking building was built between 1906 and 1912 and is noted for its unique shape and façade. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site and cultural center, as well as a symbol of Catalan Modernisme, the Catalan Art Nouveau period.There’s so much to see inside and out of this fascinating building. It’s known for its unique façade of undulating limestone which resulted in the ‘stone quarry’ moniker. See the large windows and intricate wrought-iron balconies, then head up to the roof terrace - one of the most spectacular parts of this building. You’ll see the imposing chimneys which are reminiscent of twisted, standing soldiers, along with six stepping skylights.Due to the building’s conceptual design, Gaudí created furniture, especially for Casa Milá. You’ll see the modernist style up close, fitting perfectly into the curves and waves of the walls and rooms that Gaudi designed.Your ticket to La Pedrera also includes a free kid's audio guide to make exploring the building fun and exciting for little ones. The first stop on our Picasso tour is outside the Els Quatre Gats Restaurant. This beautiful modernist building was a gathering spot for artists and is where Picasso first started to exhibit his genius.Moving on from there, you’ll soon find yourself outside Sala Parès. This gallery was once a paint shop and is where some of Picasso’s first works were exhibited. You’ll learn about how the gallery has changed over the years from your expert tour guide.As you continue the tour, you'll pass by what was once the location of a brothel, whose workers inspired one of Picasso's most famous paintings, as well as the building that once hosted the Fine Arts Academy where the artist studied as a teenager.
