• Ever wonder who Madame Tussaud herself was? This fascinating lady lived from 1761-1850, was once an art tutor to King Louis XVI’s sister, was imprisoned in the notorious Laforce Prison in Paris during the French Revolution, and left her husband, François Tussaud, to bring her wax exhibition to Britain.
• The first Madame Tussauds to open in America was in Las Vegas.
