Best shopping on and off the Las Vegas Strip

Ten great places to splash the cash, Sin City style, from the Downtown Container Park to high-end Forum Shops at Caesars and the airplane hangar-sized Fashion Show Mall.

Shopping bags

Shopping in Las Vegas is almost as big a deal as casinos, nightlife, fine dining and showboating super-hotels. There are literally thousands of retailers across Sin City, all primed and waiting to send your credit card into meltdown. We’re talking everything from luxury boutiques at Caesars to hip container parks, edge-of-town designer outlets and, for fans seeking the ultimate sugar rush, an M&Ms megastore. Ready to give your bank manager a fright? Then let’s go shopping!

The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace

Statue at Caesars Palace

Yearning for shopping that’s fit for a Roman emperor? You’ve come to the right place. Roman-style columns, arches, fountains and murals set the scene and, well, if there’s anywhere toting more marble surfaces than this place in Vegas, we’ve yet to see it. Inside this gilded cavern of capitalism, you’ll find 150+ stores, running the gamut from luxury retail legends like Tiffany & Co, Armani and Lalique, to more affordable high-street stalwarts including H&M, Kiehl’s and Juicy Couture. Heck, there’s even a car showroom in here.

Plunder the stores for togas, tiaras and other trinkets, and expect plenty of spectacle – fountain shows, aquariums and animatronics – along the way.

Downtown Container Park

Downtown Container Park

You can’t miss the uber-trendy Container Park in Downtown Las Vegas: it’s the one with the giant praying mantis guarding the entrance – its flaming antennae and ear-shattering sound system hinting at what you might expect to find inside. Comprised of multiple re-purposed shipping containers and locally manufactured metal cubes, this place is as much entertainment hub as shopping destination. Expect plenty of super-trendy indie boutiques, with no two retailers offering the same products – cool, huh? There are also restaurants, further Insta-tastic sculptures and a massive slide and water-play area in the central courtyard to keep the kids entertained while parents fill their shopping bags with unique art pieces, handcrafted jewelry and retro candies.

Pro-tip: pair your shopping adventure with discounted entry to Downtown attractions available on the Las Vegas pass: the Mob Museum, the Neon Museum and a Fremont Street walking tour, to name just a few.

Fashion Show Mall

Located across from Wynn Las Vegas at the corner of Las Vegas Blvd and Spring Mountain Road, this shopping wonderland is prime Strip real estate. More than 250 stores – including seven big-name anchors (hello, Macy’s, Apple and Saks Fifth Avenue!) – join restaurants like The Capital Grille and Maggiano's Little Italy (plus dozens more delicious and diverse eateries scattered throughout) for a mall-meets-mealtime extravaganza that’s loved by tourists and locals alike.

Pro-tip: use the Big Bus Las Vegas (included with the Las Vegas pass, natch) to hop on and off at malls and attractions along the Strip and beyond.

The Shops at Crystals

Diamonds

Not for the faint of heart (or low of bank balance), this super-luxury complex is where it’s at for all your top-end designer duds and trinkets. We’re talking 500,000 square feet of luxury goods from the likes of Alexander McQueen, Bulgari, Cartier, Fendi and Hermès. Big spenders might even be inclined to go the whole hog and shell out for some luxury Louis Vuitton to carry their priceless haul safely home. Naturally, a place of such quality and distinction also promises luxury dining, as well as several eye-popping art galleries and elegant interior design featuring ice sculptures and water features.

Pro-tip: in-keeping with its regal vibe, Crystals also plays host to an exhibition dedicated to Princess Diana, featuring elegant evening dresses, handwritten letters and other trinkets that once belonged to Lady Di. Entry to the exhibition is included with the Las Vegas pass. You can also experience the immersive world of Van Gogh here.

M&M’s World Las Vegas

Need a sugar fix? Look no further than the Showcase Mall, home to the four-story M&Ms World, plus a Hard Rock Café, FlyOver Las Vegas and, as trailed by the 100-foot-high Coca-Cola bottle that marks its facade, a Coca-Cola Store. Little prepares you for the sensory assault when you step through the doors of M&Ms World. Those colorful little guys are everywhere – everywhere – you look. We’re talking great kaleidoscopic columns of self-serve candies, super-sized video screens showing M&Ms cartoons, even dancing troupes of life-sized M&Ms. Kids will absolutely love it, though you may have to scrape yours off the ceiling following the most intense sugar rush of their little lives. Adults, tearfully clutching bags and bags of M&Ms merch, may wish to repair to the Brewdog bar up on the roof afterwards to recharge and lick financial wounds.

Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian

Gondolier at the Venetian

For a unique shopping experience, mosey over to the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian, where gondoliers ferry shoppers to upscale stores along a replica of Venice’s Grand Canal. It’s a whimsical bit of roleplay, designed to woo the unwary passenger into stumbling straight out of the boat and straight into an eye-wateringly expensive Dior diamond choker. Sure, you can window shop here too, but where’s the fun in that? Get that credit card primed for action and go full Italian fashionista mode at Cartier, Jimmy Choo, Michael Kors and more.

Pro-tip: Take a break from all that shopping to schmooze with Miley, Kourtney, The Rock and others in Madame Tussauds Las Vegas – entry is included with your Las Vegas pass, and you’ll find the legendary wax museum on level two at the Venetian.

Grand Bazaar Shops

Strip favorite Horseshoe is home to the Grand Bazaar Shops. This colorful series of tent-like buildings and stalls blends the feel of an open-air market with the sensory extravaganza that is the Vegas Strip for an intoxicating combo that will have the whole family buzzing. Shopping is only half the story here though, where there are also several bars and restaurants, an escape room, a nightly light show, and a karaoke joint where caterwauling is positively encouraged.

Pro-tip: entry to the Real Bodies exhibition at the Horseshoe is included with the Las Vegas pass.

Las Vegas North Premium Outlets

Handbags in a luxury store

The Premium Outlets (as locals call it), is located in Downtown Las Vegas, just north of the Strip. Wear comfortable shoes and pack a few energy snacks, because this cavernous cathedral of capitalism covers some 40 acres and is home to nearly 200 outlet stores, including popular brands like Ann Taylor, Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana, Nautica, Disney, Coach, DKNY, Versace and more. The indoor/outdoor vibe allows visitors to enjoy the fine Vegas weather and the bargains here (price tags are often well below high-street levels) should leave you plenty of cash for late-night adventures back on the Strip.

Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood

Planet Hollywood’s Miracle Mile – billed as ‘Hollywood meets Times Square on the Vegas Strip’ is quite the wild ride. Its circular mall packs in around 170 retailers, including big names like Mac, Oakley and Pop Mart. But that’s only the half of it. As well as 30+ bars, restaurants, diners and dessert stores, there’s also a faux-sky ceiling overhead, that comes complete with regular (simulated) rainstorms, thunder, lightning and fog effects. If the weather outside is even worse, you can also slip into any number of world-class shows at the mall, from zombie burlesque (yep, you read that right) to comedy, magic and musical tributes.

Pro-tip: catch shows including Carpenters Legacy and Elton John tribute Piano Man here with the Las Vegas pass from Go City.

April in Las Vegas: 10 Experiences for Every Kind of Visitor

Las Vegas in April? You’ve picked a winner. The city shakes off the last dustings of winter, temperatures warm up, and every sidewalk buzzes with energy. Pool parties heat up, shows ramp up, and every corner offers something new—without the sweltering summer crowds. Whether you’re here to ride, hike, eat, party or just soak up the crazy-cool atmosphere, we’ve rounded up the experiences that make April one of the best times to visit. So slip into your shades, charge that phone, and let’s make your Vegas spring adventure legendary.  Our top things to do in Las Vegas in April include:  The High Roller Observation Wheel  Fly LINQ Zipline  The Mob Museum  Las Vegas Hiking Adventures by Love Hikes  Pool party season  Neon Museum  Fremont Street Downtown Walking Tour  Sweet Sin Bakery & Cafe at the LINQ Promenade  Big Apple Roller Coaster  KA by Cirque du Soleil  The High Roller Observation Wheel: See Springtime Vegas from Above  Let’s kick things off 550 feet in the air! The High Roller, the world’s tallest observation wheel, is where you’ll score unbeatable 360-degree views of the Strip, the mountains, and the glimmering desert—especially delightful in April’s warm, clear weather. Step into a roomy glass pod (no squishing needed, plenty of space to take those panoramic selfies) and enjoy a 30-minute slow rotation as Vegas sprawls below you.  Every time we ride, it feels festive—there’s music, a sense of giddy anticipation, and on select pods, an open bar for happy hour with a twist. At sunset, the sky turns brilliant pink and gold, and at night, the Strip lights up like a mega neon playground. Families love spotting landmarks while friends toast to springtime adventures. It’s the ultimate way to kick-start a day or cap off a night out, and the sheer size of the views will have you grinning from ear to ear.  The Mob Museum: Uncover Sin City’s Wild Past  Vegas might be built for fun, but its history is even wilder than its party scene. At The Mob Museum, right in the heart of downtown, you’ll get the inside scoop on the city’s notorious past—think Prohibition bootleggers, casino intrigue, secret tunnels and even a real courtroom where mobsters once faced justice.  Every exhibit is sleek, highly entertaining, and fully immersive. Stand inside a recreated speakeasy, test your skills at cracking safes, and pore over artifacts that could star in a gangster flick. The museum’s storytelling is clever, interactive, and always draws you in with tales stranger than fiction. If true crime, Vegas lore, or larger-than-life personalities are your thing, this place delivers suspense, laughs, and plenty of “I never knew that!” moments. Grab a creative cocktail at their basement speakeasy and you’ll practically feel the history come alive.  Las Vegas Hiking Adventures by Love Hikes: Explore the Wild Side  April is prime time for exploring the natural beauty surrounding Las Vegas. Ready to swap neon lights for red rock vistas? Love Hikes lets you escape the city in style—without worrying about getting lost or missing the prettiest trails. Their guided adventures take you through spots like Valley of Fire and Red Rock Canyon, with all sorts of routes for every energy level.  Expect knowledgeable, friendly guides who know the desert’s coolest secrets: petroglyphs, hidden caves, and photo spots that will thrill your Instagram followers. The April sun is gentle and wildflowers start popping up—so you get the best of the desert without summer’s sizzle. Whether you’re a fitness buff or prefer a more leisurely stroll, you’re almost guaranteed that ahhh moment—just you, the rocks, and the endless blue sky.  Pool Party Season: The Ultimate Spring Splash  Let’s be honest—April is when Vegas’s legendary pool party scene truly splashes back to life. Think world-class DJs, palm trees rustling in the breeze, and vibrant crowds ready to soak up those first rays of real spring sunshine. Dayclubs like Encore Beach Club and Wet Republic turn their pools into open-air festivals, complete with cool cocktails, floaties and all-out summer vibes (minus the July mega-heat).  Why is April the sweet spot? You skip the sweaty midsummer rush but still get plenty of sunshine and energy. Make new friends in the shallow end, dance under the cabanas, and sip something fruity while the Strip glitters just beyond the fence. At these parties, the dress code is all about fun—don’t be surprised if you spot inflatable unicorns or dance battles near the DJ booth. You’ll float out sun-kissed, refreshed and full of spring-in-Vegas stories.  Downtown Fremont Street Walking Tour: The Heartbeat of Old Vegas  Want to understand what makes old-school Vegas tick? Join a walking tour around downtown and Fremont Street, where the city’s storied past and electrifying present collide. Local guides crack jokes, share juicy tidbits, and lead you from neon-lit casinos and street performers to quirky art corners and hidden cocktail bars.  It’s one part sightseeing, one part interactive storytelling, and twice as much fun when the weather’s as inviting as it is in April. You’ll see the legendary Viva Vision light show overhead, catch the zipliners whizzing above the crowds, and—if you’re feeling brave—snap a pic with a showgirl or a sci-fi Elvis. Fremont Street’s energy is contagious and no two tours are ever quite alike; you’ll come away feeling like a true Vegas insider.  Sweet Sin Bakery & Cafe at LINQ Promenade: Sugar Rush, Vegas Style  Need a midday pick-me-up? April is absolute perfection for patio dining, and Sweet Sin Bakery & Cafe is one of the tastiest stops on LINQ Promenade. This spot is famous for its European-inspired sweets and inventive indulgences—think rainbow-hued macarons, decadent tiramisu, and doughnuts with a Vegas twist.  We love the bright, playful interiors dotted with whimsical decor, but when the sun’s shining, the real draw is the outdoor tables, perfect for people-watching. Don’t miss their silky-smooth Italian gelato, or signature cocktails like the ultra-refreshing Prosecco Spritz. Whether you’re refueling after a shopping spree or snagging treats en route to your next adventure, Sweet Sin makes your break feel like a celebration.  Big Apple Roller Coaster: Scream Through a New York Minute  Craving an adrenaline rush with a sky-high view? The Big Apple Roller Coaster at New York-New York sends you racing past a miniature Manhattan at 67 mph, swooping and swirling above the Strip. This is classic Vegas excitement: big drops, upside-down loops and unique corkscrews that let you shriek to your heart’s content. You’ll spot the Statue of Liberty and Empire State Building replicas just before the big drop launches you over the faux skyline—plus, the desert sun and April breeze feel amazing as you zip through the open air.  What makes this coaster extra special is its playful New York theme: yellow taxi-inspired cars, killer photo ops, and a soundtrack of laughter echoing down the Strip. If you’re traveling with friends or family, you’ll have a blast arguing over who had the funniest mid-ride expression. It’s wild, it’s cheerful, and it’s only-in-Vegas fun—ideal for releasing your inner kid or kicking off an adventurous night out.  KA by Cirque du Soleil: Epic Spectacle, Vegas-Style  Las Vegas does live shows like nowhere else, and ‘KA’ at MGM Grand is pure entertainment on the grandest scale. This isn’t just acrobatics—expect a mind-blowing fusion of martial arts, aerial stunts, puppetry and jaw-dropping stage wizardry. The audience surrounds an epic ever-evolving stage, with battle scenes and balletic feats playing out overhead, sideways, and even in midair.  What keeps us coming back to KA? It’s the sense of wonder—you never quite know where to look next as warriors duel on a vertical stage or dive into a sea of swirling smoke. Costumes shimmer, the music pulses, and by the time the gigantic fireballs shoot up, you know you’re seeing something unforgettable. ‘KA’ brings you into its spellbinding story from the first moment, making it a great night out for circus fans, theater lovers, or anyone eager for a break from the dance floor. Book ahead if you can; April seats often fill fast.    April in Las Vegas feels like one giant celebration: the weather is gorgeous, everything’s open, and every day grooves with special energy. Whether you’re soaring above the crowds, dancing by the pool, or exploring fascinating history, this city never stops surprising you. Here’s to your best Vegas trip yet—see you on the Strip!    Enjoyed this? Riding this massive wheel isn’t just fun; it’s pure magic for couples. As you slowly rise above the city, the 360-degree windows deliver unbeatable views of The Strip, sun-soaked mountains, and iconic Vegas neon. Day or night, the city looks spectacular from 550 feet up. For extra romance, go at sunset and watch the city light up as the sky deepens to cobalt. Private cabins are available if you want major “just us” vibes. There’s even a happy-hour cabin for couples who enjoy a drink and a laugh with their view. With the gentle motion and mood lighting, this is a perfect way to press pause on the hustle—take in the glitz without distraction. It always gets the heart racing and sets the mood for the adventures ahead.  Strip Highlights Night Flight on Papillon Helicopter: Vegas After Dark  Nothing says “wow” quite like flying above the world’s most famous boulevard—all lit up for date night! The Strip Highlights Night Flight with Papillon Helicopter lets you both feel like VIPs as you soar past glowing casinos, luxury resorts, and those wild fountains at Bellagio. Cozy up with your favorite person as the twinkling lights slip by below. We love this one for couples because it’s quick (about 15 minutes) but impossibly special—celebratory, private, and dramatic in the best way. The atmosphere in the helicopter is equal parts excitement and exclusivity, so it’s perfect for marking a milestone or just treating yourselves. Grab a celebratory selfie, then toast your flight afterward; this is a shared Vegas memory that really sticks.  The Mob Museum: Underworld Intrigue for Two  History with a side of drama? The Mob Museum brings you right into the heart of Vegas’ wildest stories. Set in a gorgeous former courthouse, this museum covers the pulse-pounding drama of mobsters, speakeasies, and lawmen—with plenty of interactive exhibits. The ambience manages to feel both polished and just a little bit mischievous (like all the best couples’ adventures). There’s something exciting about tracing hidden tunnels, cracking codes together, or sipping a creative Prohibition-style cocktail downstairs in the speakeasy bar—yes, they have a real one! If your perfect date involves fun discoveries, juicy stories, and maybe a little plotting (of the legal sort), you’ll both leave feeling like old-school high rollers.  Sweet Sin Bakery & Cafe at the LINQ Promenade: Treat Yourselves  Every great couple’s trip needs at least one delicious, over-the-top treat. Sweet Sin Bakery & Cafe, right in the lively LINQ Promenade, nails it every time. Signature pastries like the pistachio croissant or chocolate lava cake are must-tries, and seasonal macarons always make for a fun taste-test date. Enjoy your treats inside, or stroll out to the Promenade’s colorful, animated walkway with your goodies in hand—it’s a playful break from the casino crowds, and the ultimate sugar rush.  KA by Cirque du Soleil: Theatrical Thrills  Even in a city packed with entertainment, KA by Cirque du Soleil keeps couples coming back again and again. The story-driven design sets it apart—you follow a sweeping journey of love, danger, and destiny with jaw-dropping flips, aerial feats, and those impossibly creative costumes. KA’s theater is immersive and dramatic, letting you both get drawn right into the action from the moment you sit down. There’s a real sense of spectacle in the sets—giant moving platforms, fiery special effects—that will have you whispering “how did they even do that?” between scenes. It’s the kind of shared, awe-filled experience that lingers long after the curtain closes.  Neon Museum: Nighttime Strolls Amongst Glowing Art  For couples who love their date nights quirky, the Neon Museum is a total mood. Picture a garden of vintage Vegas neon signs, all lit up in glowing colors. The history is wild—each sign tells its own story, from old casino glitz to iconic hotels that shaped the city. Take a guided night tour (they usually run after dusk) for the full effect and a little fun context. The whole atmosphere is creative and retro, offering countless spots for couples’ photos that are way cooler than the standard Vegas selfie. Wandering through glowing art together? It doesn’t get much more memorable.  Las Vegas Downtown – Fremont St. Walking Tour: Vintage Vegas Vibes  Explore the roots of Sin City together with a stroll through historic Fremont Street. Guided walking tours introduce you to offbeat stories, lively street art, and scenes from Vegas’ early days—long before the mega-resorts took over The Strip. As you wander, you’ll bump into hidden speakeasies, interactive public art (giant illuminated drama masks, anyone?), and the world’s largest video screen overhead, blasting music and visuals all night long. The spirit on Fremont is energetic, casual and always surprising—perfect if you like your history lessons with a cocktail in hand and a good dose of local color. For couples who bond over new discoveries and retro energy, this is the adventure to pick.  Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art: Artistic Escape  Not every Vegas date needs to be wild. For a serene, creative outing, duck into the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art. The atmosphere is peaceful and sophisticated, offering thoughtfully curated exhibits that cover everything from modern painting to historic photography. It’s easy to drift unhurriedly from one artwork to the next, chatting about which colors and images jump out at you. The gallery’s compact size means you never feel rushed or overwhelmed, so take your time—no crowds pushing you along here. Afterwards, swing by the Bellagio’s lobby to catch the seasonal flower displays or, if you’re in a playful mood, step outside to the legendary Bellagio Fountains. The synchronized water and music shows run every 15–30 minutes in the evening and create a romantic spectacle best enjoyed hand-in-hand. Between world-class art and Vegas’s most famous free show, it’s an easy transition from culture to classic Vegas dazzle, and it always gets couples reminiscing on their favorite moments together.  Ready for Love-Soaked Vegas Memories?  From sky-high spins to enchanting strolls, Las Vegas sets the scene for couples to write their own adventure story. Try a little of everything—thrills, sweet treats, cozy art galleries, and a dash of neon nostalgia—and you’ll see just how much this electric city loves a good romance. Whatever your couple style, you’ll find plenty of inspiration for memories that last long after you leave the glitz behind.    Enjoyed this?
