Las Vegas Walking Tour information
Tours are limited to small groups, to ensure you have the best experience and give your guide the ability to tailor your tour to your group and answer any questions you have along the way.
This tour starts at the very beginning of Las Vegas – quite literally where it all started. In 1905, at the corner of Fremont Street and Main Street, Las Vegas was established. Your guide will take you to the spot where the first settlers stood. Learn where to find a piece of the Berlin Wall in a men’s room, 1850’s chandeliers from the San Francisco Opera House, and 1870’s street lamps from Brussels.
From there, you'll head down Fremont Street for the main event. Hear where Sammy, Dean, and Frank of The Rat Pack used to hang out, snap a photo in front of El Cortez, and take in the flashiness of neon signs galore. Your guide will provide an in-depth history of Sin City and all the famous city landmarks that call Fremont Street home. Don't forget to look up and marvel at the gigantic, lit up canopy. It's a quintessential Fremont experience.
As you make your way around the Fremont Street area, you may recognize many famous places. You can photograph the infamous Vegas Vic, see the famed Golden Nugget and Las Vegas’ craziest wedding chapel in Neonopolis.
Beyond Fremont Street, you'll journey to Fremont East, an up-and-coming Silicon Valley-type neighborhood, and Downtown Container Park to cap off the experience. Both stops offer great shopping, delicious food, and a look at some of Vegas' newest attractions and monuments.
While most people think of Las Vegas as the party or gambling capital of the country, there’s really a lot more to it. The sparkling city has a luxurious and storied past, and you’ll be able to learn all about it – and more – on this two-hour tour of its most famous areas.
