This one-hour tour of Long Beach by glass bottom boat is a great way to get up close to the native wildlife.
There are five large windows in the bottom of the boat. Peer through to spot anemones hiding among the rocks and see fish darting through the kelp beds.
You might spot playful California sea lions diving gracefully beneath the boat, or just lazing on the rocks in the sunshine. Also look out for gulls soaring and swooping in search of their lunch.
Your guide will regale you with stories and fun facts about the various ecosystems inside Long Beach Port, as well as pointing out local attractions including the RMS Queen Mary, which is permanently moored here.
