Starting at the striking Eldridge Street Synagogue, your expert guide will lead you around the Lower East Side, known particularly for its Eastern European Jewish community. Along the way, you'll get to enjoy the flavors of the neighborhood by trying local delicacies such as true kosher pickle, a knish, a bialy, and the famous black and white cookie. What's more, you'll stop in to Essex Market, NYC's best-known food market with fare from all over the world, and you can even finish up the tour with a taste of Cruffin, the croissant-muffin hybrid made famous by the bakers at Supermoon.
