Hawaiian Hall – this exhibition is spread over three floors, with each corresponding to the physical and spiritual realms of the Hawaiian people: Kai Äkea, the wide expanse of the sea; Wao Känaka, the realm of man; and Wao Lani, the heavenly realm. Through songs, chants, and mo'olelo stories, you'll discover the voices of Hawaiians, past and present.
Pacific Hall – explore Oceania and its people through artifacts, artworks, videos, oral traditions, and linguistics .
Picture Gallery – see the world’s finest collection of 19th century Hawaiian art, oil paintings, watercolors, rare books, and collectibles.
Abigail Kinoiki Kekaulike Kāhili Room – view portraits of the Hawaiian Monarchy and some of their personal effects.
Nā Ulu Kaiwi‘ula Native Hawaiian Garden – learn about the importance of plants in Hawaiian culture. Explore the dozens species that were brought by Polynesians when they discovered the Hawaiian Islands.
Richard T. Mamiya Science Adventure Center – get hands-on in this immersive, interactive center. There’s plenty to see in this 16,500 square-foot facility, you’ll learn all about the ongoing research in areas including volcanology, oceanography, and biodiversity.
