Orlando Showdown: WonderWorks vs Madame Tussauds for Your Next Trip

Orlando has no shortage of unmissable experiences, but even the most enthusiastic theme park adventurer needs a break from rollercoasters. That’s where two classics come in: WonderWorks and Madame Tussauds Orlando. Both attractions deliver jaw-dropping fun (and excellent air conditioning!), but each offers a totally different adventure. Today, we’re breaking down what makes them unique, what to expect, and—perhaps most importantly—how to choose which to visit on your big day out, whether you’re planning a family escapade, a couple’s date, or a day with friends.

The lowdown

Here’s a quick-fire summary to get you up to speed on WonderWorks and Madame Tussauds Orlando:

WonderWorks Orlando

  • Upside-down ‘amusement park for the mind’ on International Drive

  • 100+ interactive science exhibits—be a human lightning rod, survive hurricane winds, lie on a bed of nails

  • Laser tag arena, 4D motion ride, ropes course

  • Convenient location: In the heart of Orlando’s entertainment district, I-Drive

Madame Tussauds Orlando

  • World-famous wax figure attraction at ICON Park

  • Take photos with lifelike likenesses of celebrities, movie stars, sports heroes, legendary musicians—even superheroes!

  • Fun themed zones: Marvel, Justice League, Music, Hollywood, A-List Party, History & Leaders

  • Located in vibrant ICON Park: dozens of restaurants, attractions and the Wheel at ICON Park

Sounds good, tell me more...

WonderWorks Orlando: Science Adventures in an Upside-Down World

When you first spot WonderWorks, you might check your head for dizziness: the entire building sits upside-down, as if it crash-landed on I-Drive. This is part of the fun; you haven’t even walked inside and already your brain’s doing somersaults. The interior playfully explores everything science can throw at you—expect a mix of hands-on activities, brain-boggling puzzles, and sensory overload.

Step into themed zones like Natural Disasters, Physical Challenge, Light and Sound, and Imagination Lab. Fancy becoming a human lightning rod? Walk up to the Tesla coil and let 100,000 volts pass through you (safely, we promise). On a hot day, blow off steam in the Hurricane Shack, where 74-mph winds roar straight at your face. Daredevils can flop onto a bed of 3,500 pointy nails and walk away grinning. It’s interactive, energetic, and packed with moments adults enjoy just as much as little ones.

Upstairs, WonderWorks serves up classic-attraction fun with laser tag, a ropes course soaring overhead, and a 4D XD Motion Theater. The theming is science-forward but super accessible, so you’ll enjoy yourself whether you’re travelling with mini science geeks or adults looking to play.

Madame Tussauds Orlando: Step Into the Spotlight at ICON Park

Madame Tussauds Orlando remains the ultimate walk-through selfie paradise, thanks to what look—and often feel—like the world’s most convincing wax figures. Celebrities, sports legends, characters from pop culture, and leaders past and present fill specially styled zones, complete with backdrops and props for next-level photos.

The beauty of Madame Tussauds? No glass cases, no do-not-touch vibes. Hug Superman. Shoot hoops with Shaq. Pose beside Taylor Swift, high-five Aquaman, or take a selfie with Oprah. Every scene creates a different fantasy moment: belt out a tune in the Music Zone, strut your stuff on the Fashion Runway, or solve mysteries with Sherlock Holmes. For families, plenty of figures appeal to younger guests—think superheroes, astronauts, and historical icons.

Since you’re in ICON Park, the fun continues before and after. Restaurants spill out onto colorful plazas, perfect for people-watching; climb aboard The Wheel at ICON Park for sprawling Orlando views.

Okay, so which one is most impressive?

Deciding which attraction impresses more depends on what you’re looking for. WonderWorks wows from the outside before you even buy a ticket, thanks to its upside-down structure and head-turning signage. Step inside and the sense of fun only ramps up. From massive physics contraptions to illusion rooms built for tricky photos, the building is alive with interactive excitement.

Madame Tussauds brings next-level artistry by making you question whether you’re standing next to the real Aquaman or just his very convincing wax doppelganger. The sheer detail in the figures, combined with themed backdrops, gives every exhibit a blockbuster feel. The vibe spills into the open spaces of ICON Park, keeping your day feeling special long after you exit the attraction.

Which one is more fun?

Both attractions nail the fun factor, but they deliver it differently.

WonderWorks channels fun through action, experimentation, and hands-on challenges. Feeling competitive? Challenge your buddies in the laser tag arena or see who can handle hurricane-force winds without blinking. Aspiring scientists (and their grownups) love testing their skills and courage—will you brave the bed of nails or strut across the ropes course suspended in midair?

At Madame Tussauds, fun is about moments. There’s joy in mimicking presidential handshakes, playing popstar on an illuminated stage, or joining soccer legends on the pitch. The creativity in your photos is half the fun, and the attraction always encourages you to ham things up. Families, couples, and friends can craft memories that last longer than just a posed shot.

Both attractions keep you laughing, snapping photos, and making memories. WonderWorks leans more into play and discovery; Madame Tussauds, into fantasy and make-believe.

Which is more beautiful?

WonderWorks boasts one of Orlando’s most distinctive buildings—flipped upside-down, grand columns embedded in the ‘ceiling’, faux cracks running through the facade. Inside, expect flashing lights, whirring machines, optical illusions, and a vibrant color palette that keeps your mood upbeat and playful.

Madame Tussauds is all about ambiance. Every gallery is meticulously designed, with spotlights and backdrops to match your favorite star’s persona, from the red carpet glamour of movie premieres to the mood-lit halls of history. The lifelike quality of the wax figures actually creates a kind of art gallery vibe, and if you catch a quieter moment, it genuinely feels surreal to be surrounded by “celebrities.” Even if you’re not a massive pop culture buff, the artistry is eye-catching.

Which has the better view?

Madame Tussauds shares a campus with The Wheel at ICON Park, one of Orlando’s tallest attractions. After you’re done mingling with the wax A-listers, hop aboard The Wheel for panoramic views over International Drive, downtown, and—on a good weather day—even out towards the theme park horizon. It’s become a photo destination in its own right, especially around sunset.

WonderWorks sits lower to the ground, but its unusual design means there are views of a different kind. Inside, you’re peering through time tunnels, illusion chambers, and constantly catching sight of things from an unusual perspective. But if peeking over the skyline is on your bucket list, Madame Tussauds gets the win—thanks to its neighbor.

How do I get there?

WonderWorks sits at 9067 International Drive, right in the center of the I-Drive entertainment strip. Public transport is straightforward: take the I-Ride Trolley (Green or Red Line) and hop off at stop 18. Lynx Bus 8 also serves the area, and plenty of rideshares know exactly where to bring you. If you’re staying at an I-Drive hotel, WonderWorks is walkable from many popular spots.

Madame Tussauds Orlando is part of ICON Park (8401 International Drive). You’ll find it easily accessible on the I-Ride Trolley (stop 14), or Lynx Buses 8 and 42. Paired with all the other attractions and eateries in ICON Park, it’s a breeze to visit by public transport. With both attractions located along International Drive, tacking them onto your Orlando itinerary is hassle-free.

Best choice for families, couples or friends

Families: WonderWorks scores big for multi-generational fun. Kids adore the interactive stations, but adults will get just as into the ropes course or 4D rides. Perfect for science-loving families, but also for burning off energy and learning in disguise.

Couples: Madame Tussauds is your go-to for date day. Wandering through themed rooms, striking dramatic poses, and teasing each other with “awkward fan” photos—what could be more fun? Pair it with a sunset ride on The Wheel for romance with a twist.

Friends: Both fit the bill depending on your vibe. WonderWorks turns a rainy afternoon into an energetic team challenge, while Madame Tussauds is hilarious for group selfies and acting out scenes with wax legends. ICON Park’s built-in food and drink options make group outings a snap.

I’ve got fidgety kids to entertain – which has more ‘hands on’ activities?

WonderWorks wins for hands-on interactivity. Nearly every zone invites you to push, pull, throw, or build—sometimes all within a few feet of each other. Laser tag and the ropes course offer energetic options for children (and adults) who would rather move than stand still.

Madame Tussauds features opportunities for creative posing and some interactive props, but it’s less physical—great for quieter moments or creative play, rather than burning off sugar rushes.

What’s the accessibility like?

Both WonderWorks and Madame Tussauds are fully wheelchair accessible and stroller friendly. WonderWorks offers elevators and ramped access throughout its three floors, and staff are always on hand to help if you require special assistance. Restrooms are accessible and service animals are welcome.

Madame Tussauds Orlando’s galleries are all single level, and pathways are wide—making navigating with a wheelchair, mobility scooter, or stroller a breeze. Sharp turns and themed lighting create fun environments, but never at the expense of accessibility. Service animals are welcome here too.

Best lunch spots nearby?

Hungry explorers rejoice—both attractions have fab food within a short stroll.

Near WonderWorks

Cafe Tu Tu Tango (walking distance, 8625 International Drive): Vibrant, artsy space where local artists sometimes paint live. Tapas-style menu; the Cajun chicken egg rolls and street corn are crowd favorites.

Maggiano’s Little Italy (9101 International Drive): Big plates of comforting Italian classics. We’re always fans of the chicken parmesan or house-made lasagna. Family-friendly and ideal for longer catch-ups.

Shake Shack at Pointe Orlando: Great for a quick, satisfying meal—try the ShackBurger with crinkle fries and a handspun shake.

Near Madame Tussauds Orlando

Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips (ICON Park): Famous for super crispy batter and thick potato slices. Pick up their signature sticky toffee pudding for dessert.

Sugar Factory: Over-the-top décor, ridiculously fun milkshakes (try the Tie Dye Milkshake), and wild selection of confections. It’s a treat for kids and big kids alike.

Ole Red Orlando: Laid-back country bar and grill with hearty burgers and BBQ. Live music and a friendly crowd bring serious Nashville energy to Orlando.

Looking for variety? ICON Park’s central plaza offers something for every budget and taste, plus shaded outdoor seating ideal for people-watching.

Where are the best photo opportunities?

At WonderWorks, don’t miss a group shot outside the upside-down building with its crazy “roof” against the sky. Inside, grab photos lying on the bed of nails, inside the astronaut suit, or under the archways of the Imagination Lab. The illusion exhibits work best in well-lit areas, so mornings or early afternoons catch natural light for selfies.

At Madame Tussauds Orlando, every figure is a photo op. Pose with Superman in full superhero stance or channel your inner popstar beside Ariana Grande. The lighting is tailored for perfect photos—no flash needed! Arrive early or late in the afternoon for fewer crowds and more creative freedom.

For post-attraction shots, hop on The Wheel at ICON Park at golden hour or sunset for dazzling views and cityscape snaps.

We’re finished and thirsty – is there a decent bar in the area?

Thirsty explorers are spoilt for choice along International Drive and at ICON Park.

At ICON Park (for Madame Tussauds visitors):

Yard House: Enormous beer selection—find everything from local Florida IPAs to rare imports. Pair with the truffle fries or Korean BBQ wings.

Tin Roof: Budget-friendly with a relaxed vibe, Tin Roof serves strong cocktails and stages live music nightly. Try the Nashville Mule for a zingy pick-me-up.

Near WonderWorks:

The Pub Orlando: Cozy British-inspired pub with a lengthy draught beer list. The Pimm’s Cup is refreshing on an Orlando afternoon.

Howl at the Moon: High-energy piano bar that’s perfect for groups. Sip on a famous ‘Bucket Drink’—they come in giant shareable batches (sometimes with glow sticks!).

Any other good stuff nearby?

Both attractions perch on International Drive, home to Orlando's best shops, entertainment, and attractions:

Near WonderWorks:

Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Orlando—a weird and wonderful museum of oddities.

SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium—walk through a 360° ocean tunnel surrounded by sharks and rays.

Pointe Orlando—shopping, dining, IMAX theater, and comedy clubs, all within a few minutes’ walk.

Near Madame Tussauds Orlando:

The Wheel at ICON Park—take a sunset spin for unbeatable views.

Museum of Illusions—just steps away, this next-level selfie museum is a trickster’s playground.

Free: ICON Park plaza itself offers free live music and local performers most weekends, plus splash pads to cool off on hot days.

Local tip: Foodies should stroll the two blocks south of ICON Park for hidden-eat gems—like local favorite Sloppy Joe’s for a messy sandwich, or iCafe De Paris, a sweet little French bakery for coffee and pastries.

Picking between two favourites

Orlando Father’s Day Guide: Make Dad’s Day Legendary

Father’s Day is just around the corner—and if you’re planning an Orlando getaway, you’re in luck. Orlando is packed with attractions, adventures, and one-of-a-kind experiences tailored for dads of every style—whether he’s a thrill seeker, a foodie, an aspiring astronaut, or just ready to kick back with the family. Not sure where to start? No worries—we’ve rounded up the very best Father’s Day outings, restaurants and memory-makers so you can craft an Orlando celebration Dad will love from sunrise to sunset (…and beyond).  Our picks for celebrating Father’s Day in Orlando include:  Kennedy Space Center  Gatorland  The Orlando Eye  Daytona International Speedway Track Tour  SEA LIFE Aquarium  Legendary Steaks at Christner’s Prime Steak & Lobster  Madame Tussauds Orlando  Fun Spot America  Golf at Congo River Adventure Golf  The Outta Control Magic Comedy Dinner Show  Gatorland: Unleash Dad’s Wild Side  Father’s Day calls for a little adventure, right? Enter Gatorland, the self-proclaimed “Alligator Capital of the World.” This classic Florida attraction offers a blend of quirky charm, wild encounters and genuine natural beauty—think up-close gator feedings, splash zones, and tropical boardwalks where Dad can show off his wild side.  Some dads watch Animal Planet; others want to get in the action. Gatorland’s Screamin’ Gator Zip Line lets Dad fly over a pool of live alligators (don’t worry, it’s perfectly safe). Prefer something a little less… airborne? The Gator Jumparoo Show is a classic—a spectacle of giant reptiles leaping out of the water, cheered on by a crowd of wide-eyed guests.  What really sets Gatorland apart is its laid-back, old-Florida atmosphere. The staff are all passionate locals, full of fascinating gator facts and big smiles. Beyond the gators, there’s a petting zoo, giant tortoises, and even a charming train ride through the wetlands.  It’s hands-on, uniquely Floridian, and will give Dad a Father’s Day tale he’ll be telling for years. Don’t skip snapping a family photo with one of the park’s toothy residents—just maybe steer clear of offering hugs.  The Orlando Eye: Panoramic Views and Sky-High Cheers  If Dad loves a great view (or just wants an epic selfie backdrop), the Orlando Eye—now called The Wheel at ICON Park—is a must. This 400-foot-tall observation wheel is pure Orlando fun: hop in your private air-conditioned capsule and gently rise high above the city, with sweeping views stretching all the way to theme park castles and sparkling lakes.  Riding in late afternoon is an especially good move—the Florida sun slants across the landscape and the golden hour photos are on point. If you’re feeling festive, upgrade to a capsule with a bubbly toast and raise your glass to Dad at the top!  The vibe here is relaxed but special. Whether it’s a first ride or a family tradition, there’s something magical about watching the world shrink beneath you. After your flight, stick around ICON Park for a celebratory burger, cold beer, or gift shop find.  What makes this perfect for Father’s Day? It’s a gentle thrill everyone can enjoy together, plus it gives Dad a little time in the spotlight—or at least 20 minutes above the hustle and bustle.  Daytona International Speedway Track Tour: For the Dad Who Lives Life Full Throttle  Got a dad whose heart beats a little faster at the sound of revving engines? This experience is for him. The Daytona International Speedway, just about an hour’s drive from Orlando, is a bucket-list stop for any motorsports fan.  The Speedway tours offer a behind-the-scenes look at “The World Center of Racing,” including the massive grandstands, the Victory Lane where legends celebrate, and the chance to snap a photo right on the banked track. Guides liven things up with insider tales, trivia and pit lane secrets, so even non-race fans get swept up in the excitement.  Perhaps the real highlight is the feel: standing at the start/finish line or gazing up at the race control tower, Dad gets to step into the shoes of his favorite drivers. For those who want a little more speed, there are add-on experiences (for an extra fee) where you can get behind the wheel or ride along at pace—now that’s a Father’s Day thrill.  Expect a lively, spirited atmosphere and loads of photo ops—plus gift shops brimming with racing gear if you need a last-minute present for Dad.  SEA LIFE Aquarium: Dive Deep into Father’s Day  Maybe Dad’s more into marine life than NASCAR. No problem—SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium is a fantastic, immersive indoor retreat perfect for relaxing and exploring together. With walk-through tunnels, huge tanks, and interactive animal encounters, it’s equal parts fun and educational.  The highlight for us? The 360-degree tunnel, where sharks, rays and sea turtles glide silently above—and occasionally lock eyes with you through the crystal-clear glass. It’s not just mesmerizing for kids; adults love the tranquil, dreamlike ambiance, too.  Don’t miss the feeding demonstrations, where marine experts share fun facts and answer questions. You can even book a VIP behind-the-scenes tour if Dad’s a true ocean buff.  Bonus points: it’s in the heart of ICON Park, so you can pair SEA LIFE with a trip on The Wheel, a meal, or nearby attractions. The aquarium’s cool, shaded environment also makes it a great option for steamy June afternoons. Dad will leave feeling chill, curious, and maybe even inspired to spot some Florida wildlife on your next beach day.  Madame Tussauds Orlando: Snap Selfies with Dad’s Heroes  Want a Father’s Day photo album like no other? Madame Tussauds Orlando places you side by side with music legends, sports stars, superheroes and movie icons. The wax figures are strikingly lifelike—and the sets are made for creative, silly and memorable family snaps.  Whether Dad wants to “run” the Oval Office, shoot hoops with Shaq, or share the stage with Beyoncé, it’s easy to spend an hour or two laughing your way from one celeb to the next. Kids and grown-ups alike love the themed rooms—one minute you’re saving the world with the Justice League, the next you’re posing for a British royal portrait.  What’s great here is the laid-back, fun-first energy. No shushing or stuffiness—just a place where everyone can get a little goofy. The interactive props make it easy to create your own adventures, and the friendly staff are always willing to snap a family shot.  If Dad’s a fan of sports, music, movies or pop culture, Madame Tussauds is a Father’s Day memory waiting to happen.  Fun Spot America: Classic Rides and Classic Smiles  Some dads want thrills, but not necessarily theme park crowds. Enter Fun Spot America: a family-friendly amusement park smack in the city with free parking, classic rides, and all those nostalgic, good-times vibes.  Challenge Dad to a go-kart race (they have multilevel tracks and notorious hairpin curves) or see who can scream the loudest on the White Lightning wooden coaster. There’s a fun mix of old-school rides—bumper cars, Ferris wheels, and arcade games—plus plenty of food stands offering everything from funnel cakes to corn dogs.  The atmosphere is playfully retro: think carnival lights, breezy music, and plenty of places to lounge while the kids run wild. Entry is flexible, so you can craft a Father’s Day just right for your group.  For bonus points, buy Dad a ticket for the SkyCoaster (it’s like bungee jumping and hang-gliding combined—seriously thrilling) and crown him Family Daredevil of the Year. You’ll leave with hearts racing and memories that last.  Golf at Congo River Adventure Golf: Tee Off with a Twist  Orlando comes alive with mini golf courses, and Congo River Adventure Golf is a favorite for its wild theming and tropical excitement. If your dad loves to hit the links (or just has a soft spot for a little friendly competition), this is the perfect sunny afternoon outing.  The course winds through lush landscaping, waterfalls, caves and—yes—life-size gator statues (this is Florida, after all). It’s more than just putting tiny balls into holes: you’ll traverse rope bridges, solve scavenger hunts, and encounter surprises around every bend.  For those who want to up the ante, there’s even real live alligator feeding. Who knew golf could get so wild?  The vibe is pure laid-back fun: no scorecards required (unless Dad’s a stickler for the win), and everyone can play at their own pace. Congo River Golf is a great way to unwind after a morning of theme parks, or to pair with a Gatorland visit for an animal-themed Father’s Day itinerary.  The Outta Control Magic Comedy Dinner Show: A Night of Laughter and Illusion  Cap off Father’s Day with a hearty dose of laughter and a little bit of wonder. The Outta Control Magic Comedy Dinner Show at WonderWorks is a long-running Orlando favorite, fusing magic tricks, stand-up comedy and family-friendly improv.  The intimate venue means every seat is close to the action—so don’t be surprised if Dad (or the kids) gets pulled into a trick or two! The talented cast keeps the show zipping by, blending jaw-dropping illusions with quick-fire jokes and crowd participation.  What’s on the menu? Unlimited hand-tossed pizza, salad, dessert, and drinks (including beer and wine for the grownups). It’s dinner and a show, all under one roof—perfect for a relaxed, low-hassle celebration.  Why do we recommend this for Father’s Day? Because it’s about creating those shared laughs and "how did they do that?!" moments that families remember long after vacation ends. Book in advance—shows fill fast for special weekends.    Like this? Orlando in Three Days: Adventure, Thrills, and Sunshine Awaits!

Let’s face it, three days in Orlando sounds like a whirlwind—roller coasters, rocket launches, wild alligators, and poolside cocktails all trying to fit into just 72 hours. But adventure loves company, and Orlando’s playful energy means you can enjoy big-ticket attractions, family fun, and surprising foodie moments without ever feeling rushed. Our action-packed itinerary has something for everyone: a hint of old-school Florida, a bunch of brainy science stops, and non-stop, sunshiny excitement. Whether you’re a kid at heart, a thrill-seeking duo, or a family on the go, here’s how to turn three Orlando days into a trip everyone will talk about forever.  Here are our favorite Orlando experiences to help you plan the perfect three-day adventure:  Kennedy Space Center  Gatorland  Madame Tussauds Orlando  WonderWorks  SEA LIFE Aquarium  The Orlando Eye  Museum of Illusions  Fun Spot America  Chocolate Kingdom  CoCo Key Water Park  The Outta Control Magic Dinner Show  Congo River Adventure Golf  Day 1: Stars, Science, and Surprising Sweets  Lunch: Orbit Café  Before heading back to Orlando, refuel at Orbit Café inside Kennedy Space Center. The menu is all-American comfort—think burgers, wraps, and tasty salads, all with a space-age twist. Their “Meteor Meatball Sub” and rocket-shaped cookies are a hit with both kids and adults. The vibe is casual, dotted with space memorabilia and model shuttles overhead.  WonderWorks – Where Science Gets Silly  After lunch, head back to Orlando’s International Drive by Greyhound or rideshare (45–60 minutes). Now for something utterly quirky: WonderWorks. You can’t miss this building—it looks like an upside-down mansion crash-landed from another planet. The moment you step inside, you’re hit with more than 100 hands-on exhibits that let you generate a hurricane, lie on a bed of nails, or challenge your reflexes in the Wonder Zones.  It’s loud, colorful, and packed with school-holiday energy. The 4D motion ride keeps thrill-seekers grinning, and the ropes course up in the rafters helps burn off sugar-fueled excitement. Don’t miss the laser tag arena—definitely a crowd-pleaser for families and groups!  Sweet Stop: Chocolate Kingdom  Time for a late afternoon treat. Just a quick five-minute Uber away, Chocolate Kingdom is part Willy Wonka, part Florida history lesson. Their Factory Adventure Tour is a chocolate lover’s dream come true: from bean to creamy bar, the interactive guides keep things both educational and delicious. Watch chocolate being poured and sample their dreamy dark or milk chocolate fountains. You can even design your own chocolate bar—hello, best souvenir ever.  Dinner: VIVO Italian Kitchen at Universal CityWalk  When it’s time to unwind, catch the I-Ride Trolley northbound up International Drive (cheap and easy!) and hop off at Universal CityWalk. VIVO Italian Kitchen’s open pasta kitchen hums with energy and friendly service. Sip a glass of Chianti or a zingy cocktail as you dig into their signature pasta tossed in basil pesto or the killer carbonara. The exposed-brick, industrial-chic look is fun, and the open kitchen means you can watch the chefs in action.  Optional Nightcap: The Orlando Eye at ICON Park  End your first day in style aboard The Orlando Eye. ICON Park is a short I-Ride Trolley hop from dinner. The 400-foot-tall observation wheel rotates slowly above the city; take a spin at sunset for a panorama bathed in golden light, with twinkling theme parks and lakes all revealed in one giant sweep. Each air-conditioned capsule is private, and you can even upgrade for champagne. It’s a fantastic way to see Orlando sparkle before you settle in for the night.  Day 2: Wet & Wild Fun, Gators, and Magic  CoCo Key Water Park – Splash Into Day Two  No one should visit Orlando without getting a little bit wet! Start your morning at CoCo Key Water Park on International Drive; from most I-Drive hotels, it’s an easy trolley ride. The slides wind through palm trees, and the gigantic canopy means kids can shriek down water chutes without getting sunburnt. Grown-ups can kick back in the lazy river, or grab a shaded lounger with a cold drink in hand. The tip here? Arrive at opening (usually 10am) to snag the best chairs and ride the slides before the lines grow.  Lunch: The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen  Dry off and recharge at this wildly imaginative restaurant right at Universal CityWalk (quick trolley or Uber ride). The décor is a mash-up of steam-punk and fantasy, with bubbling chocolate pipes and whimsical waitstaff in bowler hats. Expect savory sandwiches piled high with juicy roast beef, wild truffle fries, and freakishly large milkshakes—our favorite is the Brownie Dream, topped with a fudge brownie and chocolate whipped cream. It’s kid-heaven and nostalgic fun for all ages.  Afternoon Snack: Black Bean Deli  Before you head back toward town, stop at Black Bean Deli—right by the Orange Blossom Trail bus stop. Their Cuban sandwiches are legendary, stacked with roast pork, ham, pickles, and melted Swiss cheese. Grab a café con leche for a caffeine hit and soak up the lively, no-frills local vibes before heading back to your hotel to freshen up.  The Outta Control Magic Dinner Show – Dinner and Laughs  For something completely different tonight, make a reservation at The Outta Control Magic Dinner Show inside WonderWorks (perfectly accessible via the I-Ride Trolley). This dinner show is Orlando’s best-kept secret: hilarious magic, goofy improv, pizza, salad, dessert, and all-you-can-drink beer, wine, and soda—all included! The theater is intimate, the host keeps the laughs coming, and audience participation keeps things spontaneous. It’s classic Orlando: a mix of comedy, jaw-dropping tricks, and family-friendly warmth. As the curtain falls on your second day, you’ll wonder when you last laughed so much over a meal.  Day 3: Quirks, Creatures, and Colorful Memories  Museum of Illusions Orlando – Mind-Bending Morning  Ease into your final day with a little brain gym at Museum of Illusions, back at ICON Park (trolley accessible). Every corner offers a new visual puzzle or photo opp: walk on the ceiling, swap heads in the kaleidoscope room, or step into a mind-boggling infinity tunnel. Teens and Instagrammers love this spot, but the optical tricks are clever enough to engage the whole family.  SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium – Underwater Wonders  Still at ICON Park, SEA LIFE Orlando lets you swap puzzles for portholes into the deep. Countless tropical fish swirl overhead in the 360-degree Ocean Tunnel, and there are daily talks about conservation, sea turtles, and mysterious jellyfish. Touch pools and behind-the-scenes tours help future marine biologists get hands-on, and the layout is easy to navigate—even with strollers.  Lunch: Yard House at ICON Park  You could happily eat lunch at one of ICON Park’s many options, but we always head for Yard House. Why? The modern sports bar setting is bright and sociable, and the menu is a crowd-pleaser—spicy tuna stacks, street tacos, hearty burgers, and over 100 beers on tap. Try their Korean BBQ wings and pair with a local IPA if you’re in the mood to taste Orlando’s craft beer scene.  Fun Spot America – Thrills on the Cheap  Ready for that final adrenaline fix? Hop on the I-Ride Trolley south for five minutes—you’ll spot the giant ferris wheel and scream-inducing coasters of Fun Spot America. This throwback amusement park captures the spirit of old-school Florida fun. There are high-speed go-karts, retro fairground rides, an arcade, and the White Lightning wooden roller coaster, which rattles and drops with irresistible excitement. The atmosphere is festive, with funnel cakes and lemonade stalls offering comfort and sugar.  Congo River Adventure Golf – Mini Golf Mayhem  Slide into the next fun chapter just down the road at Congo River Adventure Golf (10-minute walk or one stop on the trolley). Themed around wild African jungles, the course features caves, waterfalls, and lizard sculptures. As you putt your way around, you might find yourself racing to beat the clock or even trying your hand at “gator feeding” (yes, they have real ones on site!). It’s a friendly, silly way to wrap up your three days, and a winner with groups or parents who want a low-stress contest.  Dinner: The Hampton Social  Toast to a perfect Orlando adventure with your final meal at The Hampton Social, a breezy, upscale spot at Pointe Orlando (quick trolley ride north). The nautical, airy décor with whitewashed wood and hanging chairs instantly conjures up beachy, vacation vibes. Their lobster roll and “Rosé All Day” cocktails are just the thing for relaxing after a packed trip, while the kids’ menu keeps little ones happy. As night falls, the energy is upbeat, the service warm, and the signature coconut shrimp a must-try.    Three days in Orlando is the perfect recipe for packed adventure, flavor, and Florida sunshine—without ever skimping on fun or relaxation. From awe-inspiring rocket launches at Kennedy Space Center to nostalgic theme parks and quirky museums on I-Drive, every hour brings new smiles, discoveries, and unmissable eats.
