FAQs - Paris
Our All-Inclusive Pass is valid for a full calendar day, not a 24-hour period. So, if you visit your first attraction in the afternoon and activate your pass, you’ll miss out on a morning of sightseeing. We recommend starting early, so you can get the most out of each day. Be sure to check each attraction’s opening times to plan your itinerary.
Our All-Inclusive passes also include a Paris Museum Pass, which gives you free access to some of the best museums and galleries in the city.
2 and 3-day All-Inclusive passholders will receive a 2-day Paris Museum Pass.
4-day All-Inclusive passholders will receive a 4-day Paris Museum Pass.
6-day All-Inclusive passholders will receive a 6-day Paris Museum Pass.Your Paris Museum Pass is fully digital - once you've purchased your passes with Go City, we'll send you all the information you need to download it, which is done through our booking portal.
When you download your Paris Museum Pass before you start sightseeing, you'll be asked to specify a 'date' which MUST be on one of the days you plan to use your passes. A day will be redeemed for the date you enter, which cannot be amended.
The first day of activation of the two passes will either be on the 'date' you enter OR when using your Go City® All-Inclusive pass for the first time. Your Go City® All-Inclusive pass and your Paris Museum Pass must be used in conjunction, within the same period and on a consecutive day basis (not 24-hour periods).
Please note: 2 and 3-day All-Inclusive passes purchased before 16 October, 2023 do not include the Paris Museum Pass. If you purchased before this date but wish to visit museums and galleries included on the Paris Museum Pass, you may be able to to so by requesting a refund and repurchasing an updated pass. Please contact our customer service team for more details.
While our passes don't include public transport, they do have a variety of tours and sightseeing buses to choose from. Some might say that's even better than a busy public bus. Just saying.
Sorry, we aren't offering pass upgrades at this time.
As there are no names printed on your pass (only an email address is required), they make the perfect gift. All passes are valid for 24 months from the date of purchase, so you can gift them for use at a later date.
The Go City app is your key to exploring the city. Download for free to your Apple or Android device and follow the instructions in your confirmation email to sync your pass to the app. It’ll then be ready for scanning.
To help make your experience even better, we’ve loaded the app with tons of attraction info, tips, and a handy itinerary tool so can plan your perfect trip.
The days of the All-Inclusive Pass are consecutive.
Once you activate your pass, this will count as your first full day. You will then have the following consecutive days, depending on the duration you have chosen, to use it. For example, if you have a 3-day pass and activate it on a Tuesday, you’ll then have Wednesday and Thursday to visit all your chosen attractions.
Sorry, we don't. Our passes already give you great savings on sightseeing, so, unfortunately, we can't offer any further discounted rates on individual passes.
Pfft, this isn't your ex's Netflix account. Our passes cannot be resold or used by more than one person. We're sorry about that!
Our child passes are for ages two to 17.
Confirmation emails can take up to four hours to receive due to our fraud check procedure which protects you from phishing, identity theft, and payment fraud. If you haven’t received a confirmation email after four hours (and you’ve checked your junk mail!) please contact us via live chat so we can help resolve the issue.
We accept PayPal, Google Pay, and Apple Pay as well as most debit and credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
We know that no two sightseers are the same. That's why we offer two pass options. For those who want to see as much as possible, we've got All-Inclusive passes: choose how many days you want your pass to be valid for, then visit as many attractions as you wish.
And for those of you who are a little pickier, we've got the Explorer Pass: select how many attractions you want to visit, and you'll then have 60 days to do so. Plus, there's no need to decide which ones to go for before you purchase, so you'll still be able to keep your plans flexible.
Some attractions may require a reservation. You can find out which ones need to be booked in advance by visiting our reservation page on each city. Just remember, if you need to make a booking to visit an attraction, your pass must be valid on the day that you visit.
Sorry, you can only visit each attraction once per life of your pass. Luckily, we have so many attractions to choose from, there’s plenty you’ll want to do!
Your Explorer Pass will activate when you visit your first attraction.
If you have an All-Inclusive Pass, the first day of activation will be either when you visit your first attraction OR the 'date' you enter when downloading your Paris Museum Pass. Both passes must be used in conjunction, within the same period and on a consecutive day basis (not 24-hour periods).
Well, it depends:
If you've purchased an Explorer Pass, you'll have 60 days from first use to visit your remaining attractions.
All-Inclusive passes are valid for the number of consecutive days that you have purchased. The first day of activation will either be on the ‘date’ you enter when downloading your Paris Museum Pass, or when you scan your All-Inclusive Pass for the first time at an attraction.
Please note: if you don't visit your first All-Inclusive Pass attraction until 5PM, that will still count as a full ‘day 1’. We recommend allowing for this when planning your trip so you can make best use of your pass and see as much of the city as possible!
Remember, your All-Inclusive Pass and your Paris Museum Pass must be used in conjunction, within the same period and on a consecutive day basis.
The Paris Museum Pass is non-refundable and non-exchangeable and does not include access to temporary exhibitions. This means that if for any reason you want to get a refund for your Paris Pass or Go City All-Inclusive Pass, then the cost value of the Paris Museum Pass will be deducted from your overall order refund.
You can find out the cost value of the Paris Museum Pass, included with your pass type, on the Paris Museum Pass website.

For example, if you purchase a 3-day pass to explore Paris on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of March, you can enter any of those three dates. Anything outside of those dates will be automatically redeemed and you may lose one of your purchased days.

When you make a reservation on the Go Reserve platform, this will count towards your pass usage.
If you have an All-Inclusive Pass: your reservation must be made on a day in which your pass is, or will be, activated.
