Pasta Lovers at Trattoria la Botte
A taste of 'la dolce vita' in Rome
What you'll do
Designed to celebrate Rome’s wonderful food and culture, this indulgent pasta tasting experience at Trattoria La Botte features three classic dishes, all made with fresh local ingredients.
The meal includes pasta alla Carbonara, a famous dish from Rome made from creamy egg yolks, Pecorino Romano cheese, and succulent guanciale. Cacio e Pepe is simple yet satisfying; fresh pasta tossed with tasty pecorino and freshly cracked black pepper. Amatriciana is a special Roman pasta dish made with a tangy tomato sauce, crispy guanciale, and pecorino.
To complement your delicious meal, you’ll receive a glass of Italian wine or a soft drink, plus still or sparkling water.
You will learn about Italian culinary traditions, the interesting history behind each pasta dish, and how these timeless recipes have been passed down through generations.
This experience will give you a taste of ‘la dolce vita’, where you can soak up a relaxed dining experience. In Italy, pleasure is found in the simple things in life: food on the table and sharing it with loved ones. Embrace the slow pace and savour every moment, just as the Romans do.
