What you'll do

Combining history, spooky tales and potential ghostly encounters, this tour is perfect for anyone with a penchant for the paranormal! You'll check out some of San Diego's most notorious spots for ghostly activity and learn about the history and folklore of these haunted spots. You'll spend plenty of time admiring the Victorian architecture of Heritage Park and enjoying the disturbing stories of its gruesome and ghoulish past. You'll also explore Old Town San Diego with a brief stop at the Whaley House, and finally, El Campo Santo Cemetery.

To book your spot on the tour, text or call 619.255.6170 on the day you would like to take a tour, at around 2PM. It is not possible to book in advance of the day, as this allows the tour company to confirm which tours are running based on the day’s minimum attendance. The more flexible you can be with which time you’d like to attend, the better!

: Getting in
Arrive 15 minutes prior to the tour start time. You'll meet your guide at the Senlis Cottage in Heritage Park (2454 Heritage Park Row), which is an orange and brown structure visible as soon as you enter the park. The tour operates on a strict schedule, and late arrivals may not be accommodated.
: Do I need to tip the tour guide?
Tipping your host, either in cash or via Venmo, is encouraged and greatly appreciated.
What should I wear?
Given the evening chill, dress warmly. Good walking shoes are recommended for comfort.
Is there parking near the meeting point of this tour?
Parking is limited and we recommend that you arrive an hour ahead if you plan to park. Visit the Haunted San Diego Ghost Tours' website for a parking map of the area.
Is this tour suitable for wheelchair users?
This tour involves a mild, half-mile walk and uphill travel. It is accessible for wheelchair users with assistance, however it's not recommended for those using walkers.
Can I bring the kids?
With its mix of history and ghost stories, this tour is generally suitable for all ages - you can even bring your dog along! However with plenty of spooky tales and potential paranormal activity, this may not be suitable for some younger children.
