Mission Trails Regional Park:
This stunning hike offers a variety of trails from beginner to intermediate that you can choose from. The park consists mostly of rugged canyons and hills, with both natural and developed areas and allows you to see all the way to the shores San Diego.
You also have the chance to see wildlife and many beautiful flowers and plant life. The whole family can enjoy this hiking tour as it is not too challenging or lengthy.

Tecolote Canyon Trails:
Tecolote Canyon is one of many canyons and open spaces located within the city of San Diego. Tucked away behind houses, businesses, and golf courses, these canyons provide the perfect respite for anyone craving an escape from the city for a refreshing hike. You’ll see many birds and other wildlife and take in views of high mesas, the river, and natural brush!
There’s also a nature center with plant & animal exhibits you can visit after the hike! With only a few short hills, it provides a good 2-hour guided beginner or intermediate hike that the whole family will enjoy.
