What you'll do
As the sun sets in San Francisco, stroll through the streets and discover the darker side of the city as your guide takes you down the most haunted walk on Haight Street and to the homes of some of the most notorious serial killers in the US.
Famous for its hippies, counterculture and the Summer of Love, San Francisco's Haight-Ashbury district has also been home to a darker history – in 1969 alone it is believed that as many as 151 murders took place in the area.
On your tour, you'll learn about the San Francisco Ripper, visit the homes of infamous serial killers Charles Manson and Jim Jones, and brave the district's most haunted walk. Watch out for the ghosts of Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin and the other mysterious musicians still roaming around.
This experience is a must for fans of true crime and the paranormal, or anyone just interested in some of the shadier local stories.
